I bought this kubota diesel powered bobcat side by side that had failed to run and was parked for many years. the nice things are enclosed cab, front mounted plow, bucket, and forks, and the bad well let’s just say it needs some love for sure. and the issues keep coming, and now it is done

The float control on the front lift should probably open the hydraulic valves but disable the pump so that the cylinder is free to move under the blade's weight.
Just for reference, most of the clutches like that have a way to adjust engagement speed. Usually weights and/or spring get swapped. If there aren't any caps for the hoses on an implement, I usually plug them together so they stay in better shape. It will allow the fluid to flow and the cyl and whatever it's attached to, to move.
Really good engineering on this machine made to the absolute minimum to function until the warranty runs out

I can tell you why one is tight taper fit and the belt driven is splined. One has piston impulses and the other is softened by the belt.
Maybe I'm wrong but I think I would leave the cover off so you could spray it with liquid wrench Teflon spray before every run I think it would help tremendously it would be a lot less messy than spray graphite or give them both a try either could be a very big help I'm sure?

The replacement switch (Microswitch) might be beefier because it has a higher current rating.

Looks like you need to get an old road grader project which you can you to clean up all of the ruts on your back country roads. I’m sure that would be a good challenge for you!

The plastic piece between your blade and cutting edge is supposed to save so you do not gouge or push all of your gravel off your road.
