Honestly the blue haze you’re getting on the 7.3 is probably normal. Depending on how blue it really is (can’t tell in the video) since it’s a heui it relies on oil psi to fire the injectors. I have a 7.3 and it has a blue haze from time to time but nothing to worry about. Those motors are tanks.

my chevy has a blue haze like that and if i remember some vent line from the intake can get clogged and cause occasional oil burn, wonder if the old power strokes are like that too, or if a glow plug is going out

Some blue smoke on a cold start isn’t a big deal on an older truck. Just burning a little oil lol. White smoke is no good on a diesel would indicate bad injectors most likely
