  1. @ScammerPayback When she asks how you see the scammers, why not first tell them you run an org called Scammer Payback that monitors internet scams. Just saying "I'm watching the scammer" doesn't answer the question of how.

  2. I was almost scammed the other day,by some ***ch pretending that they were from Amazon. I’d received an automated call from a mobile number ( UK )..the automated voice was telling me about an Amazon Prime payment of £79.99 that’ll be coming out of my account in a few days time..I DO NOT HAVE AMAZON PRIME..!!..if I wanted to cancel the payment to press 1 to speak with customer services. I’m normally pretty savvy when it comes to scams,but unfortunately this day I wasn’t. Anyways,I started talking to this ***ch on customer services..she asked me when I’d last used my Amazon account..told her 3 weeks ago..I apparently had an iPhone in my basket..opened my account,&. sure enough,there was an iPhone..every time I deleted the item another 2,3,2,4 iPhones would appear. I must’ve ripped into her good & proper..or was it the fact that I told her that I was going to report this scam to the police..?? I’ve since deleted my Amazon account & have a new debit card. Stay safe out there everyone..❤

  4. No offence but… consider your approach next time. I think you should open with an introduction.. hi I’m so and so. And I hack into scammers computers. I want to help these folks and your bank. Then just give the quick and dirty run down. If you can’t get anywhere ask for the supervisor. If that don’t work. You should do exactly what you did here. Great work again. Just sitting from the cheap seats. I always feel that if you make a personal connection by introduction it helps. And yes it matters because people need to make choices about where to deploy their resources.

It is disturbing that a banking institution with a direct phone-line access, has a lax a practice of not answering their telephone. places like that bank: Walmart, Target, grocery store…..any business w/ a phone number should answer their d, f-ing telephones because sometimes an actual person at that location may need to be gotten ahold of for legitimate & serious reasons!!!!

  7. You know that people get punked every day. Anyone that isn't familiar with what you do is going to want to make sure they're not being punked. Especially a police department.

    Another reason Credit Unions make more sense. They report to you, not Wall Street.
