As a Veteran with PTSD, I thought a YouTube channel about our farm would be therapeutic. Well, yes and no. There’s a lot of good people with nice comments, but it only takes one jerk to ruin it. I’m at an impasse at the moment and unsure if I should continue creating videos.
I will never be watching your channel again thanks to this video. I'm not sure why i'm even bothering to write this, cause you stated you dont read comments or even want interaction with people that consume your content. I will say i agree with you about people showing up unannounced at your home, that should not happen. However virtually everything else you said in this video is just plain horrible. You flaunt your pride, you dont even want to hear suggestions of tips or helpful comments about how you might do something different. you dont want gifts, you dont even really want to talk to people at the farmers market other then maybe a BRIEF conversation while they are giving you money for the products they purchase from you. You put on this air of humbleness and down to earth hard work in your content, however this vidoe proves this is nothing by an act for the camera. The people i know that are truly humble will stop whatever they are doing to talk to a neighbor. They will always be open to suggestions on how they might improve their life. They accept gifts with humbleness and gratitude. You show non of this.
You could have made this video about 14 seconds long and just said "the update of the channel is i want no interaction with you….just watch my channel, make me money, and shut up"….Well i will not be supporting that endeavor. I have removed you from my playlist. I hope you find a little humbleness.

Pete & Hillary, watching you both keeping so occupied with your farm chores each new day that you said you are like a hermit with no time for anything else to do. I think we can make the time in our busy schedule to do other things, if it’s important or valuable to us. Your YouTube is very successful providing your family with a nice steady income. You don’t have to worry or get stressed like you did when you first started down this journey, giving up your architect job and Hillary her nursing career. Is your farm success all there is in this life or is there something else that is more important? Our lives here on earth is only temporal. One day we are going to grow old and become unable to farm anymore. Our children might take over and we have to retire. Is there nothing better out there that we can look forward to that is more precious than what this life has to offer? Yes, there is. You can have it and you both can make it happen. It’s up to you both to decide if you want it. It’s free. I’m asking you both to consider John 3:16, John 14:1-3. Acts 1:9-11, Matthew 24:30-44. Please find the time.

I get it. The urge to stick my head in the sand is there, especially when America has gone so far off the rails and pushes degenerate poison from every single media source possible. But history shows that they will not leave you be. The great march thru the institutions is complete, now they've consolidated their power, and have established a society and culture of fear where one wrong-think "like" on Twitter years ago ends your career today. Much less expressing an actual opinion that isn't Kosher with the dominant power of America. Evil thrives when good men do nothing. You can hide out on your farm but they're coming for your children. They're not going to leave you be. So this is a losing strategy. But not everyone is tough enough to fight, and that's fine. We'll see if we can win this thing without you. You'll find out which side won when the knock comes on your door, or doesn't, as the case may be.
