  1. I was actually bummed out with the cancelation of Google ARA! I remembered being so hyped up with the amazing innovation and checking all the news/updates from Google. Imagine my heartache and huge disappointment when they canceled it. Ngl it left me some serious trust issues from then on.

  2. Correction, Oppo did the Notch first and it was actually available to purchase in China and India. It was a triangle design notch. The phone shipped with an LCD, Snapdragon 6 CPU, 4GB of RAM, 64GB storage and a 3700mah battery. As it was never popular, it was pulled from the market incredibly quick. I've seen a few people use it in India. I can't remember what the name is exactly but it was a brilliant phone which spawned the popup camera era thanks to Oppo being an OEM company alongside a tech company. They built the iconic popup and slide up cameras that caused a lot of buzz.

    More you know.

  3. What about the Vivo Apex? They announced it as the first "hole-less" smartphone. I saw hands-on clips and photos, but then it turned out to be a concept phone.

  4. I loved my Xiaomi mi max 3. The 4 was all ready to come out, all the specs were up on gsm arena….then cancelled…broke my heart

  5. Project Ara had me so exited back in the day. It was a dream. Retrospectively, it now reminds me of like the first time when I saw the hoverboards in Back to the Future.

  6. The Xperia play phones were ahead of their time. They would fair better this time round I reckon with all these cloud gaming services and a lot more games supporting a controller functionality.
