2. Please excuse my ignorance, but how did the coolant and trans fluid get mixed up to begin with? Was there an episode I missed before where it got fixed, and if so, how did it get mixed again?

3. At Saturn we did it. We had BG products. When I left there to dodge I don't remember them having any svc like this

14. What I have done to get more mileage out of worn out transmissions, to be specific a Kia Sportage, a Ford E4OD in a truck, and a Volvo V70, is to change out the fluid for Type F. It's a "grippier" fluid with less/different friction modifiers and for example that Hyundai is still running, 60,000 miles later, on a transmission that wouldn't even go up a small hill without slipping. The Volvo was junked for different reasons and I still see the Ford around.

18. If someone is putting reviews that has nothing to do with the experience/service at the shop and or business you and other people can report it to Google and have it removed. If they keep doing it they may have their Google account (YouTube, Gmail etc) banned.

19. Hey Ray, great video. I have a 2008 Ford Explorer, Eddie Bauer 4.6 V8. The trans seems to slip in and out of gear, slips, surges while driving around 35mph. Feels like it might be a little low on fluid. But! There is no dipstick, or for that matter no drain/fill plug on the pan either. What the heck? How do i check, or add, fluid at all to this trans??? Any info or help from anyone will be much appreciated. Keep up the great work Ray!

23. Sorry that happened Ray, I know what that's like. Except in my case it was a crazy ex and her friends leaving 1 star bad reviews but oddly because of the 1 star enforcement, they actually helped me lol, all those 1 stars add up, lol, it would have been better for them and worse for me had they not left any review. When others tried my product I started to get 3, 4 and 5 star reviews, and vindicated by good honest reviews. Which reminds me, kids, what Ray and I are talking about is something called Slander and it's actually illegal and you can go to jail for it, if proven you never were at a place, or bought a product, or service and leave a bad review in an attempt to destroy and or discredit a person and or his/her place of business, or reputation. Yes, absolutely, you can go to jail for that, so don't do it. I say kids as I'm sure young folks say age 30 and younger probably don't know that and think it's cool to leave false reviews and false accusations. A lesson from Dad today, you're welcome kids, stay out of jail. Ray, you're doing a great job Brother I give you ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

25. Just a quick question. Can you load fluid and open thr drain a flush the all fluid wash the pan an replace the filter to get as much goo out? And the do the flushing machine?
    Amazing work though.

26. Be very careful what cars & how much time the BB cleaner products sit. The newer cars have plastic parts that are in the oil flow path.

29. I replaced a car several years ago that had a tranny that was going… then during my Christmas travels my tranny on my trailblazer suddenly and unexpectantly went out 🙁 My Grand Vacation ended up being a 5 grand vacation.

36. There needs to be a system in place that makes it so when you get work done, or go to any other place, you get a confirmation code that you enter in first before you can leave a review. Instead of just randoms hopping on the bandwagon.

39. Well it is good the truck still moves. Hopefully they take it easy on it as it shifts etc. maybe they can baby it along for a while. Money is tight for many. They should start saving for a transmission right now! Thanks Ray.

42. Late 90s, maybe early 2k…i did many of those style of trans flushes (similar machine) while working for VIOC.
    Its the way to go for trans service… Assuming you don't already have trans problems… It is possible to make a problem WORSE with this style of flush… Sometimes a filter change/25% pan fluid is a better option.
    In this case, if $ is an issue, there's nothing wrong with trying it, as long as customer accepts doing this may make it worse, but you're still paying me for my time and tool investments. You may still be buying a trans…. Your choice 🤷.
    I might say, not doing the trans?
    OK… Minimum, Rad, filter/fluid and then a flush all at the same time… And still no warranty…

    I'll try it for you if you are paying, but NO PROMISES!

    What does bother me is I've watched today's jiffy lube techs just do the suck thru dipstick and refill… Calling that a flush… FOH.
    When I called them on it… "Oh, well I'll start it up and run thru the gears and do another suck n fill."

    GTFO!

    If I am only getting 25-50% of the fluid changed, I at least want the filter changed too.

    The jiffy lube flush is NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME… DO IT RIGHT THE 1ST TIME OR DON'T DO IT!
