  2. 2025 here… just did a fresh instal of windows 10 (yes i know its nolonger supported) and want to debloat. Hopefully this is the last time before switching to Linux.

  3. WARNING! I just tried to Debloat my PC and now I can't access my document file which means I could have lost all of my Obsidian Vaults and KeePassXC file luckily I had backed up my notes but I lost some account passwords I don't know what else went wrong but just be careful guy. in a way this videos help me do what I wanted which was to debloat my PC but I wish I new that it would delete my documents.

  4. Thanks.
I would have thought, though I don't know, that removing programs would only help to tidy up the drive.
That's not the bloat you are referring to, though, it is?
So presumably this removes the kind of programs that Windows launches upon starting.
Surely no matter how many programs are installed, as long as they are not running, there is nothing to slow down the machine, provided that the drive is in good order.
Moved my machine to Linux a while back and the wife's is due to go there too before W10 support dies, but for the time being I must get this damned W10 machine to speed up.

  5. have an old 'unisurf' brand tablet ( was elcheapo from aldi), installed win10 it originally had win8, but still slow so tried this debloat, its a little bit faster but not by much, its almost useable now!

  6. used it on win 7 pro till few days ago when i installed win 10 pro, haven't run it yet but will soon and i knw the results will be amazing as always. tnx again Uncle C 🤗

  7. awesome! want and will run, but:
    > why is Edge considered horrible?
    > or why do certain programs carry a shite reputation? (media players, img viewers, dropbox wat) –> a short explanation would be cool (you know, for the backwater ppl here) >_> cheers.

  8. Hi @ChrisTitusTech, I done a debloat on win11 to test.
Now the wifi wireless adaptor is in hidden items and grey'd out.
I've tried a few things, but I havnt had any luck getting the wifi going again.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks
    Pete

  9. so what is a user set up? dude stuff that is easy for you is not easy for people that have no idea what you are doing? i don't get where you sent the file, how you found it all that stuff you typed in Power shell….. nevermind im sure this will just be a giant fkn mistake for me to try and have to end up taking my pc to someone to fix it. this is not for novice users. tks anyway tried setting the execution policy and got some sort of red letter warning…… this is why i hate computers and can't stand the thought of buying another one and having to re learn how to use it all over again, just like phones……thank you for writing and sharing but i can't do it.

  10. I have at two Onedrive accounts with 15 GB space and it is free. Same amount of Dropbox costs money. Onedrive is very handy for me. I use it to make notes in notepad and when I am out of house I can easily access those notes on my Iphone!
My notes are most technical so I don't care if anyone is seeing them!

  11. Hi Chris, wow my computer is still working, so thank you. I'm what you call a newby as far as this kind of thing goes but managed to get to the end and it's still working. Noticed the calculator is not working?

  12. Anytime I click a github link I can never find the actual download button. Trust me I know how to use a computer but I hate github for this. whys it gotta be a wild goose chase!?
