I was lazy and cut some corners to make something that so many people are using and I am ashamed. I need to fix this… .

  1. You should use wpf control templates to highlight that a option has already been done. for example: as a user click a checkbox => it will be black. after install/setting has been done => the checkbox turns green. This can be done with Styles and Templates in WPF. just my two (euro)cents

  2. @Chris Titus Tech do you have videos for fixing windows security like it is empty and has word says Security at a glance. I need help for this PLEASE! I have watched many videos about this but none of it works on my laptop.

  3. Can u please revert back to the last script that u made last year, because this latest one makes my pc get stuck on restart or shut down for a good 2 mins or more after applying the essential tweaks, other than that i love the work u do

  4. Great job on the script, noticed great performance gains from the tweaks its like a Swiss army knife for PC optimization. My suggestions for improvement add apps like google earth, nvcleaninstall, ddu, sysinternals, network and graphics optimizations for performance, pc backup and restore etc. just a couple ideas.

    Thank You.

  5. I just caught the version you put at G__ H__ on Tuesday 10 May, 2022
The new GUI is very smart for a free open source easy to get at script.
The great thing about how you present your stuff to us is that we have the chance to really see what's going on.
I just finished going again through your last two Live Streams. Fantastic learning experience.

Because of your great openess, it becomes less important to me, or less of a problem, if things are wrong or not as I prefer them.
I can learn and adapt it as I choose.

  6. Yeah the old one doesn't scale up properly, but it gets the job done! with this new one I'm really thankful for you for making it looks better. My family and friends think that I'm a tech guru for making their laptop/pc lighter and better just because I use your debloat tool lmao. I personally want to thank you for all the hardwork for making this tool.

  8. You said this tool is free and open source and yet when I go to download the utility in the show more section I see that the charge is $5.00 which obviously is small. I'm not sure which version the $5.00 offers and whether it is eligible for updates.

  9. Instead of deleting per app in Windows 10 if you don't want ANY of the "apps", you can run the following command in PowerShell (Admin). BEWARE that this will uninstall absolutely ALL Windows 10 Apps, for ALL USERS, even Windows 10 Appstore. Use it under your own risk! (I don't use Windows 10 "apps" so I always run this after Chris' debloater). Depending on your config, could make something to stop working properly. However, in my experience, in several end-user PCs, if you really don't use ANY of this apps, it really cleans up the system. Enjoy!

  10. The .NET Framework options (2, 3, 4) are a bit weird.

You should only need 3.5 and 4.8, and even then probably only 4.8.

< 4 used CLR 2, 4+ used CLR 4, so installing 2 should not be necessary.

There's also a .net core runtime you could install at e.g. 3.1, 5 and 6 (current supported versions).

  11. Hi Chris,
NEED YOUR HELP ON URGENT BASIS.
I want to create a customise windows image. It should work in the following way.
Like we have to install all the programs we want at once while installing the Windows. For this I need to create a folder in the directory where all the windows installation files are present, eg. Create a Directory "Custom Apps" and put all the application installers in it, so that the windows installation image can install all the applications automatically along with the Windows Installation.

Could you please help me with this??
If the situation is unclear then could you please provide me your email so that I can explain better with Images.

    THANKS!!

  12. It's been a while since I've checked your site, …. is there an offline version for the tweaks? I have some systems that are tightly locked down as to what they can access and I would like to apply the tweaks to get rid of the telemetry spycrap without the application needing to call out as a requirement to run.

  13. Chris, I think the UI could be better. In the install tab, you could convert the sections (Browsers, Document Tools, Games, etc) to tabs and turn the check-boxes into checkable list items inside list-views. This would allow for easier expansion of the tool as time goes on, as you discover or people request more applications. Also I think it would be good to have a way for users to add their own list of applications through a config file.

  14. NO don't add the commands, that's just confusing Chris. I know you love using commands but the majority just doesn't use them. Otherwise it looks great. Maybe, just like someone else mentioned, bold fonts or bolder fonts. I'm assuming this will work on W10 and W11?
    Awesome job overall!
