Thanks to Jesse for making the intro and graphic for us to enjoy!!

Next time order from Ford Motorsports the right part for the job and performance added remember aftermarket products are ALWAYS give you a problem fitting don't mess with it like you did sir
Would be interested to see you try the crayon trick. 11:22
This car definitely has an exhaust manifold leak 🤦
Putting headers on is pointless with a Dorman intake choking off 22 horsepower.
That is a performance car. It didn't come with headers from the factory for a reason. They won't fit
Piss poor header engineering is what this is! Well combined with the fact that Ford engineering is a total joke. A buddy of mine had a 68 Mustang and we literally had to lift the engine out of the car just to change spark plugs. When I first saw you start this video I was wondering why you did not lift the engine out to begin with? Would have been so much easier, as if its ever easy to do. I love Mustang but I hate working on them to the point I will NEVER own one!
I did this job at home, rolling around in the dirt.
Not fun.
Is this much easier to do if the k member is a tubular one?
I'm not sure what's worse, the fact that these were actually made or the fact that someone actually bought them.
Let your customer know trick flow headers are much better
I have but bbk on a old mustang but it was the 5.0 and I would say it was a B on the 5.0 as well
A proper set of headers would have gome much easier
That's a lot of trouble. Not sure that was worth the cost. At least it will sound nicer
That is why the third tube was also slotted so you could have the bolt inplace before you put thew header in so you can get to the bolt.
Those are some really crappy looking welds on those headers. Not a very good fit up and or manufacture.
Pull the motor.
Yes, i have a 2003 SVT Cobra with the 4.6L supercharged. But i made my own headers XD and yes i cheated and welded them as i made them cause it was NOT gonna be a bolt on part in anyway. Feel your pain. I was pulling the motor anyway for …. things …. and tacked it together then pulled the motor with it attached and you bet your balls it was already attached when going back in. It worked but it was a B***h.
Imagine having to change those gaskets in the future Not a job I would want to tackle, Kudos Ray
At least you got a video out of this job.
Finished watching the video and I hate to say this, but BBK did a number on you, I have the same exact car and did not have a clearance issue on the driver side, I replaced the motor mounts which helped, and used new studs on three bottomside holes. And the owner is going to wish the oil cooler was rebuilt and the pan gasket was changed while that was down.
Most 86 to 98 mustang owners become pros at dropping the k member.
An owner who obviously never watches Engine Masters. Those extra 3hp could be made easier with engine mapping.
It's like doing headers on a 350z. Only you have 1 more primary on each side and less room. 😢
This is why I never became a mechanic. Flat rate pays x hours. A job like this takes 2 to 3x hours. Then the customer returns pissed when the crappy gaskets leak.
The hundreds of videos of other people putting them on their mustang to not just u bub
