In this video I bring you along the process I use to remove and replace the rear spring hanger and shackles on a Ford Ranger that are all rotted out. -Enjoy!

I am so glad I dont live in the rust belt. Holy hell when the air hammer hit it
i got a Ford F150 that came from Maine, and looks just like the one in the video, plenty of rust.
What's causing this rust
ya can't find them grind them…the wrenches i mean ((-; Good job bro as usual!
Clean up the steel with a wire brush on a grinder and coat it with a good industrial thick grease. You won't have anymore rust problems. This works great I can attest, I live in Alberta. I'd rather have a greasy frame over a rusty rotted one.
It can't be tight if it is liquid !! Thank you for another Great video. Cheers
Where are you located?
I swear I coulda saw a video of a guy say you had to weld these on… maybe that’s only if you lower the truck
"This wrench is fatter, I better not"
Does it anyway and gets it stuck
"Why Did I Do That"
😂🤣😂🤣😂😂🤣🤣 Classic
That's why I always turn my bolts backwards when doing that so I don't have to fight to tighten it up!
This is what real husbands do.
So I did the Rear spring brackets [no torch ] How would you do the Front bracket ;Drivers side ? And thanks to you for showing the fuel filter . That's my next job as I already changed , the fuel pump . I enjoyed your comments and words to us who still ; {Like to Twist wrenches } In the backyard !!

Not every truck has a year left to live. 😂 I guarantee you'll be working on that thing 3 years from now and you'll say the same thing.
Most rangers are in the crusher? I'm in CT and they are everywhere on the road. I do coat mine in fluid film. Love the videos
Don't forget the torque! ðŸ‘😉
I hope you're up on your tetanus shot, working around that antique sheet metal! ðŸ˜
I'm doing the same on 97 ranger XLT 2.3. just wondering if any of these bolts have torque specs? Or should I just holy cow tighten them? Anyone plz & ty
9:50 pound out the top rear left rivet… The lower rear one jumps out in fear. Gotta love the 498!
Did these on my '02 Exploder, very similar.
And that’s why I took the bed off to do this
