I got this go kart from fellow youtuber harvey spooner for free about 2 months ago, and fixed all of its broken parts on the cheap.
now after we fix the throttle, brake and kill switch we take it out for some well deserved fun romping it.

  1. good job on the rebuild, but I had this one 20 years ago. The powersport motor is 6.5 horse with a lot of torque, you don;t know what your missing throwing that generic engine on it. It would run close to 40mph at 4500 rpm with the govener. thanks for reminding me how much fun that was.

  2. Mustie1 much ❤ to you M8 love your channel pure quality!!! Just love how you take trash and turn it into gold I have a real worry about tomorrow’s kids just junking stuff that doesn’t work when with a bit of time know how and perseverance you can get it going again. Keep producing this quality content buddy 😊😉

  3. Oh it’s not nonsense ! It’s fun ! When I was a teenager we took the go cart my Dad and I built up to Newfoundland NJ . A friend of the family had 88 acres up their and we would ride all afternoon. Th hey had a VW camper/ bus a we would have barbecue and have great Saturday or Sunday afternoons. In case you needed a bathroom there was a deserted house with an outhouse. I remember the time the throttle cable broke on the go cart, but other than that it ran well. My kill switch never worked. Once when I was riding I hit a rock and bent the rear axle. The guys in the shop where my Dad worked made a new axle and dad and I took the wheels , brake, gears and keys off the axle to replace it. I have the go cart in my garage but I don’t think I could fit in it anymore. My dad designed a gram which was made of angle steel with an X brace. The guys in the shop welded it together. Too heavy ! So they got aluminum and welded that and GT-12 was born. We tried a 2 horsepower 2 cycle, a Briggs 2 1/2 horsepower, until finally got Briggs 5 horsepower. Sad ugh great memories. You brought them all back with your go cart ! Thank you !

  4. When I was a kid. We didn't have a kill switch. We just reach back and pull the wire off the spark plug. LOL, and we survived. Buzz buzz buzz..

  5. Mustie, great helmet! May be good for shrapnel and maybe ricocheting bulets. but definitely won't do much to protect your head in a crash other than maybe a keeping a metal rod from going in your skull, LOL For the impact stuff, don't kid yourself. Awesome though. Glad to see you having some fun.

  6. I'm sure you've heard this before but go to powersports might be the place to go for some parts you can't find other than that straight to China if you can't make it I'm probably already knew that though good old American ingenuity will get-er-done lol

  7. I know it's kind of YouTube cliche but I'd love to see what you would come up with is creative and as awesome as a manufacturing mind I guess we'll call it you should build the most wild and crazy power wheels go kart you can come up with with reverse four-wheel drive you can turn on and off maybe even electric something with lithium batteries recycle a car battery or something all's I know is I happen to stumble across your channel and I am so glad that I did but once you get that power wheels build done if you decide to do it then you can do a collaboration with cars and cameras Reinhard plumbing maybe red beards garage Moto mule vice grip garage junkyard digs any of them guys would be game to doing a collaboration which means more content more views anyway it's just an idea I'll watch anything you put up and I think most of your viewers will and then maybe you can grab some new ones at the same time well anyway have a good one I rambled on long enough keep it going New England strong 💯💪💪

  8. I bought a trail mast about 4 years ago on craigslist for 100 dollars the tie rod was bent I think the dad got mad at the kids and sold it to me cheap it was like new ! I spent another 200 dollars in the engine piston rod air filter adapter an air filter muffler remove governor fly wheel and lighter waits for the clutch it was fast af ! My wife got mad at me and told me to get rid of it she said my two year old son was to young! So I put it on craigslist for 1,400 it was on there for two hours a guy came and looked at it drove it and offered me 1,100 I said I didn't want to sell it then he pulled out 14 one hundred dollar bills and paid me ! I was mad !

  9. Please enjoy life is to short have fun at least your smarter than the kids and can make better decisions on how you drive,I'm 57 and ride a mini bike.
