HAY BOMB!

Today I’m dropping a HAY BOMB on the pigs! Properly bedding pigs is one of the keys to raising pigs in the winter. It’s another busy day on the farm, with lots of little jobs to be done. We have a cull cow going to the butcher tomorrow, and I talk about the criteria we use to determine which cows are culled. I install new LED lights in the shop, and do a test to determine the differences between the color rendition of fluorescent vs LED lights in the shop. The bulls are fighting to establish dominance, as they do every so often, and all the cattle are kicking up their heels. I think they know spring is coming! I also have some good news about our hay situation!
