But they’re also expensive, often compromised, and I totally get why most people still can’t daily one. Now that foldables are finally thin and light enough to compete with “normal†slab phones, the cracks are starting to show: weaker cameras, higher prices, and sacrifices that flagship slabs just don’t make. So, this got me thinking: how long do foldables really have left? Are we watching the future of phones…or the beginning of the end of a niche?
