  1. Hi Pete, I just sold my Farmall M this past Saturday and bought a Farmall A ( I think ) this past Sunday. Pretty sure I found the tag but it was painted over. How do you tell a A tractor from a Super A ? There is no hydraulic lift for attachments on it. There is a manual lift for a woods 5 foot mower deck on it. Thank you JP

  2. Awesome video! Getting ready to rebuild the Zenith carb on my Case 770 and Im always excited when you've done a "how to" video on the project im preparing to do. Love your content! Keep em coming!

  3. Pete, I can't thank you enough. Massy Furguson 135 here. I'd never been inside a carburetor before, and intimidated at the idea. But I followed step by step, frame by frame. Everything worked as you described. And 'ol Massy is running good again. No way I could have done it otherwise.

  4. I have the same carburetor as in the video on my Ingersoll Rand Compressor but there are no part numbers etc. The tag is missing. What is the kit number for your carb?

  5. Whats the precise Name of this Carburetor?
    Which Kit are you using?
I think i got the exact same one – but there is no number on it.
    Greetings from Germany

  6. I have one of these carbs on my fork lift here in New Zealand, Mine has a fuel shutoff behind the main jet. its leaking. im going to plug it like yours. my main butterfly is worn out i may make one.
I also enjoy small desk jobs and making it clean and neat.

  7. I’m gonna be referencing this video for my 400. Currently working on an old 9N. Not a better day spent than one working on a tractor!

  8. I love this video great explanation of the steps coming apart and how it all goes together thank you. My son is working on a massey 165 with the similar carb so it will be a great reference for him

  9. I have a 1960 case 540, a 530 is a diesel engine, and a 540 is a gas engine. I have 2 carburetors, a Marvel and a Zenith. Both carburetors are backwards, the accelerator linkage is on the wrong side so i can not hook up the governor. The air cleaner is an oil bath andbit is in the front of the tractor which means i can either use the air cleaner or the governor or move the linkage on the carburetor to the other side, BUT the idel adjustment screw does not have a hole in the other side there is a place to put the screw but no little hole for the needle to fit in. Any help anyone?

  11. Silly question, but how does one best remember what goes first upon reassembly? I don’t think I can remember all of that. I am currently learning.

  12. Really appreciate all your videos Pete! I would like to tune up the family Farmall H this summer. I don't have much experience working on this old equipment but with help from your channel I have the confidence to get it all done! Best wishes pal!

  13. Pete, I need your help. I have a case 630 gas tractor and the carb needs rebuilt. I am having problems finding the correct kit. It's a Marvel-Schebler carb and the tag says TXS 571 WITH A 2 At the end of it. And 749 at the bottom. Parts manual said that the tractor should have a TSX-798 carb part# G45774. Can you help me. Thanks for your time Mark Ryan

  14. OMGoodnesss…."don't try to start anything!" Hilariously funny it is so bad! I'm posting that on on my FB page. I'll make sure you get the credit. No way would take credit for this one……because it's yours of course,!

  15. Hey Pete, I’m 14 years old and I bought a 1946 farmall m the other day. I took the carburetor off today and I’m going to rebuild it, but your extremely inspiring to me.
