  1. Most mechanics don't have the passion for small engines like Mustie does. Quite evident after watching his videos for years. Darren, thank you!

  2. Musty is at his best on electrical diagnosis and correction. I think he has the skill of one in one thousand mechanics, Time tested by decades of experience. In terms of diagnosis and correction of the switch for the p.To, You will note there are metal connections springs and bent metal. Dirt and fatique are primarily the causes of poor connections. Over time springs lose their elasticity. It's referred to as cycles to failure. Great job musty!!! 👍👍👍

  3. say WHAT!!!!!!! a lawnmower shop couldn't find out what's wrong with it 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 like teral says it's not the space shuttle 😁😁

  4. Use a schematic and a muti-meter…. save time. From a retired Hobart service tech… nice vid! If I had a dime for all the cherry-switches out of adjustment or failed….lol.

  5. they hide the starter solenoid in hard to access places. I bypassed it on my Troy Bilt and put in a 50 amp push button start button. Always works. The carb has a fuel shutoff that stops it from backfiring when it's shut down, if it fails electrically, the engine just shuts off. Get a new carb.Or cut the plunger off that shuts off the fuel. Then hold your ears when you shut it down. There's also a cutoff if you get off the seat or go into reverse with the blades engaged.

  6. Hi Mustie! Thanks for your amazing videos…I would like to know how you estimate what you charge your customers for service like this…if you don't mind…just curious!!! Thanks!
