Question if you check the tractor out and can’t find the issue do you still charge a fee only asking because for my business purposes. Thanks
Hey Mustie, its good watching your video again! Its been a while. I am so happy to see more of your videos!
Who knew changing a belt could cause all those issues…
What a Diagnostic Challenge!
Most mechanics don't have the passion for small engines like Mustie does. Quite evident after watching his videos for years. Darren, thank you!
Check fly wheel key/points
Outstanding. Most detailed / instructional lawn tractor diagnostic on You Tube. Thanks so much! You will save me hundreds of $$$$ !
GENIUS!
Calling ignition switch!
🤞
Dirty white.. aka yellow.. heheh! Another great vid!
Solenoid
Wire loose by starter
Burned fuse
Best part of just discovering Mustie1's channel??? Binge-watching with the excuse of it being "educational"!!! Love your channel!
To run, an engine needs fuel, air & spark. Which are you missing?
!
I googled "where can I get a handy" and that lift is not what came up.
Broken wire

great job man !!!!!
NO DECK
Electrical schematics are a big help!
Your awesome mustie 1 I've been a fan for a long time you are teaching me so much thanks 😊
Musty is at his best on electrical diagnosis and correction. I think he has the skill of one in one thousand mechanics, Time tested by decades of experience. In terms of diagnosis and correction of the switch for the p.To, You will note there are metal connections springs and bent metal. Dirt and fatique are primarily the causes of poor connections. Over time springs lose their elasticity. It's referred to as cycles to failure. Great job musty!!! ðŸ‘ðŸ‘ðŸ‘
What would you think my problem is? The mower wont start it has a new battery it only starts if I use jumper cables
The nanny state has made everything too complex ( for our safety) . Every machine I buy the deletion of nonsense is my first repair .
say WHAT!!!!!!! a lawnmower shop couldn't find out what's wrong with it 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 like teral says it's not the space shuttle ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
Use a schematic and a muti-meter…. save time. From a retired Hobart service tech… nice vid! If I had a dime for all the cherry-switches out of adjustment or failed….lol.
There's a video out there where a guy demonstrates that the grease actually does go past the seal and enters the bearing. He proved it.
they hide the starter solenoid in hard to access places. I bypassed it on my Troy Bilt and put in a 50 amp push button start button. Always works. The carb has a fuel shutoff that stops it from backfiring when it's shut down, if it fails electrically, the engine just shuts off. Get a new carb.Or cut the plunger off that shuts off the fuel. Then hold your ears when you shut it down. There's also a cutoff if you get off the seat or go into reverse with the blades engaged.
Great job as usual, Mystie!
Brave man to go forward without a wiring diagram.
Hi Mustie! Thanks for your amazing videos…I would like to know how you estimate what you charge your customers for service like this…if you don't mind…just curious!!! Thanks!
Thanks for sharing your knowledge of small engine repairs. I’ve learned a ton of things. Where are you located in MA ?
