Huawei’s new P30 Pro has some of the most cutting edge camera hardware to date but the Mi 9 Explorer Edition is no slouch either. In this camera comparison let’s compare these two chinese flagships to see which one comes out on top.

The Huawei P30 Pro has a 40MP Primary RYYB sensor with an f/1.6 lens and OIS then there’s a 20MP ultra-wide f/2.2 and another 8MP telephoto f/3.4. The telephoto can give us 5X optical or 10X hybrid zoom which in a way reinvents mobile photography. Huawei continues to be a market leader here and the P30 Pro also has a TOF sensor to the back and The selfie shooter is a 32 MP affair.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 Explorer Edition comes with the same sony IMX 586 48 MP primary sensor from the Regular Mi 9 but this time we get a new f/1.47 lens. We’ve also got a 16MP ultrawide camera and 12MP Telephoto sensor along with a 20 MP F2 selfie shooter to the front.
