  1. I think for me that Pete represents what capitalism and America are all about. In these times of gimme and people looking for instant graduations Pete is a breath of fresh air.❤

  2. Never apologise. No regrets. You do great work and are compasionate in running your farm. BTW your barbq dinners make me hungry. Mmmh. I love this time of year.

  3. Teach them Pete. They will learn from you. Make meat little cards describing pork, chicken and beef available, compare price at local cuts and prices clear. Or investment in signboards that's written for a 10th graders. Works every time Neall APOLLO BEACH FLORIDA

  4. Yes, you and the wife make a great team. I try to relate to my grandpa with what you are doing. Although he had a dairy farm. He also had 8 daughters and 1 son. Back when women weren't allowed to work the animals. He sold just before the stock market crash, I think, and became a milkman. I hope he had as much fun on his farm.

  5. im running meat birds for the first time. it is fun watching them grow. follow you every week! i love watching the variety of a normal day in the life of a farmer… it is refreshing and so relaxing to watch. the animals respond well to you, even the "piggers' . i am so tempted to get some pigs, but have no infrastructure yet. so another year waiting. Best of luck thru the winter, look forward to watching the changing seasons with you and Hilary!!

  6. It’s always a friendly face you have but I suspect farming is a very serious business of animal growth and culling. It’s amazing to watch how you balance the myriad of skills, needs and joys of farming.

  7. I lived on a small farm way back in the late 1940s. My Dad was a little too old to be drafted during WWII. He had been in the construction business and joined the SeeBees and worked fortifying the Panama Canal. When the war ended we moved to a small farm. We raised chickens, a few beef calf’s and had a big garden. We had a milk cow and my Mom made butter. I was just a little kid, but it was a wonderful experience that has served me well in life!

  8. Pete, I would love to go and shop at the local market but I’m a disabled vet with very limited income. Therefore I shop at my local grocery store. If I had the money I would pay to shop from vendors like you and the others. The quality is much much better flavor is 1000% better. Once a year I go to the market and buy the best pork roast I can find. This once a year money is no object. I know what I’m getting can not be reproduced from my local grocery store. I’m not saying this for a pity party, just the opposite. People come to you, those like you, because they know the quality and attention to detail they will get.
Thanks for the info on the Boston I know need to start looking to find one to try.
Thank You for what you do.
    I appreciate you and Hillary.

  9. I know you both work hard but I love your farm. I love seeing the animals. Wish our lives had gone more in the farming direction. But we get our fix watching your you tubes! I even like your tractor videos.
