Glad to see at least one shop that still takes the time and efforts to perform the big jobs even to specifications. Great job.
Ray!! Thank you my heater core went out and decided to rebuild my box after seeing your video. Very good video everything you did I did as well.
Is it a "new" 5.5 mm fastener (.21653 inch) or an old 7/32 fastener (.21875 inch) ? I just use a 7/32 socket.
I bet you this guy has all kinds of extra parts left over. I don’t know why you call this a bonus video. It looks like a hell of a mess video.

This help me on the actuator replacement
Excellent
Very nice job
5.5 mil….. I used it on my 2001 Blazer.. Rear throttle body stud.
Ford started the 5.5mm on their ignition modules
Awesome cleaner perf3ct jobs like these. Inotice u don't use cleaners. Perhaps u will learn take pride ur work. K8nda l8ke being organized when working. Ur clueless that area. LOL
Nice job dude. How in the hell remember where things go. Pics I reckon. Well done Dawg
Jesus christ what a nightmare the worst thats about 10 grand
I am currently conducting this operation. Looking for advice on whether to add PAG oil to the evaporator prior to reinstalling the HVAC box.
I would never ever remember were all them bolts go LOL how the heck do you remember were they go LOL
Good job, as always. 😊
Think it’s a better image if a mechanic is driving a well looked after old car rather than a brand new shiny car.
Well looked after used car shows that that you care about your work that you put your trust in something that others would have discarded.
Secondly maintaining an older car is better for the environment especially if you factor in electric and hybrid cars as they have a bigger carbon footprint than your truck before they’ve rolled out the assembly line.
Thirdly a mechanic with a brand new shiny truck screens to me that they are all about profit and image over customer care
Those actuators are most likely manufactured by Daewoo/GM Korea or one of their suppliers, they're the same as the ones on my 1995 and 1997 Daewoo Super Salons
how much did it cost to take that unit out of that truck
Great work, you shouldn't ever have to do this job again!
Not cheap, frugal. Lol. I’m the same way, that’s why I drive a 1993 Ranger with the 2.3 L4. 😂😂
mt only question is why did you replace all the actuators, the evap and heater core and not the blower motor and resistor? I know you can get to those when the box is installed, but to save the hassle. love the vids!
love it
Why tf do 5.5mm size bolts exist?
