I really liked Silent Hill f and the multiple endings it has were amazing. Piecing together the entire plot is great, if you are interested in it. The only thing that held the game back was that they were holding back on the gore. It feels too tame. If this was full on hardcore violence, maybe, especially in the context of the story, even some sexual themes on top, it would have been astronomically better. The author of Higurashi wrote the story and it shows but Higurashi never held back at all. Thats the only negative point to me. Enemy variety is fine, esp since every enemy also symbolizes something tbh.

In Dying Light: The Beast, movement and combat is PAINFULLY awful in the beginning. Definitely not worth $60.

When it comes to Silent Hill F, as someone who already played OG Silent Hill 2 and Metal Gear Solid 3, that game is more worth my 70 dollars.
I'm tired of playing remakes. Remakes are such a cheap cash grab and they don't do enough to justify playing the same game again.
People say "graphics", but when you're playing the original on PS2 back in the day, you don't notice graphics. In fact the OG graphics add to the charm.
Silent Hill F on the other hand is FINALLY a completely new written story. The industry is so lazy and will do anything it can to never write a new story ever.

I have a feeling he didn't even do all the endings in SHf cuz it definitely expands allot more for the story and flushes it all out the only thing I didn't like was the combat at times PLUS new game+ makes it make more sense
I think Charlie should revisit DL2. The Beast has recency bias and DL2 has gotten a tonne of updates since launch.

The issue with MGS3 Delta, it wasnt close ENOUGH to the OG. Obvi its more detailed, but it looks IMMEASURABLY better even on PS2. UE5 is dogshit, and almost every game on that engine runs and looks like shit.
