In the middle of all my farm work, I have a special surprise for you today! We’re getting ready to take our first batch of winter pigs to the butcher, and I explain the steps we take to make loading easier on butcher day. Then I start fixing fences, getting ready for the cattle to go out on pasture soon. And a little more manure to spread, along with my surprise: foraging for ramps (a type of wild leek) in the woods. It’s a beautiful spring day on the farm!
