Replace the pcv valve and run some stiction eliminator right before the next oil change,kias are known for sticky rings,if you run cheap oil they tend to stick the rings,a clogged pcv will put a ton of back pressure in the block and push oil up past the rings also.

Bruh that mechanic is dumb, the timing chain would not make it smoke, it’s either worn rings or valve guides, or headgasket
Those motors are known for burping oil really bad after some miles

My first thought on the Kias problem, was sparkplugs but you would probably feel something wrong from unburned gas.

I'm a mechanic it's a head gasket on Kia. Antifreeze in oil or is pressure the coolant system?? White smoke. Sweet smelling out exhaust

If the car is smoking after an oil change they might have done one of two things. Forgot to drain the oil and filled it with fresh oil, or filled it with oil twice.
