Today Dad & I have a bunch of mechanical stuff to finish up, and I’ll show you how we do it. We disassemble the starter for the Farmall MD and see what parts it needs. I bring you up to date on our repair work on the Farmall MD front wheel centers and put the new tires on the rims. We finish installing the quick attach on the International 2000 loader for the Farmall 656. We take the ring gear off the Farmall MD flywheel, flip it around, and reinstall it so the starter can engage with unworn teeth. And finally, I show you my 1955 International R-172 truck and talk about possible plans for it. It’s another busy day on Just a Few Acres Farm!

Chuck in Florida.
and 3 years later that truck is getting its turn in the shop
is that a 59-62 vette in dads garage if so see if he wants to adopt a younger brother for you.
Love listening to your Dad.
Pete, that is SO cool, that you can reverse the ring gear on that piece. NICE WORK. Thanks for sharing. Ted and Patti, in New Jersey
Pete – the smaller inside diameter of the wheel is called "the drop center." Keep up the good work!
Nice truck and would be a nice winter project to get it road ready. My suggestion would be to put a stake bed on it and use it to take to the farmers market with farm name and you tube channel for free advertising. That way you can keep the freezers on the truck( run extension cords to coolers)and not have to unload them every time and just unload what you need into the coolers. I like the wide variety of topics you have on your channel and the jokes are dad jokes and are hilarious.
I used a growler in college.
You could really go nuts on that truck restoration !!
Loved your video on the red power roundup, All the different bxariasiong of tractors and trucks . I havwe a very unique 59s vinatge I H truck un forsenly I only have the cab and front half the cab has been narrowed up to about half as wide as a normal cab
That truck looks to have a great body.that would be sharp rebuilt just the way it it.
I liked to see you and your dad working together.
Hey Pete, do you know when a joke becomes a Dad joke? When it becomes apparent. I'll see myself out…
I have a growler in buffalo you can have it if you want to come and pick it up,
1:33 that would be a great truck to go to Farmers Market with. All restored with a nice wooden flatbed. Would be excellent, I think. Either way awesome truck.
Your skillset is wonderful….
