You didn't do the knocking joke properly. You should have had a small wrench in a rag or in a long sleeve. When the victim starts the engine you tap the small wrench with another wrench.

You shouldn't have to over torque the fastener unless there is a design flaw. You should only have to compress the o-ring.
Just think. A high output laser would make it look brand new.

Looks like that Torx T60 was from a 3/8" drive – wonder if there would have been enough room to use the T60 bit from the 1/2" drive T60 socket driver and the XDHFM1516 flat aircraft style long wrench I think you can buy just the T60 bit without the whole socket driver assembly
