  1. One 2×4 on outside and one 2×4 on inside with washers on both sides using a big rounded bolt through the center you can bolt your windows from the inside and calk around the boards prior to tightening the bolt to prevent critters and water . Stay safe.

  2. not exactly sure where you are but i am just seeing this being in SWFL myself … was 11 days without power (a few without water too… not counting boil water notices) … and just 2 hours ago Comcast came back UNexxpectedly … was hearing "maybe after Christmas" for Comcast, just yesterday really

Hope you and your family did ok … I know to the south of me in Sannibel and Ft Myers beach got hit HARD … I did really well considering … lost alot (all really) food in the freezer … considering even with off and on generator (was not able to find gas for a few days but had some stocked up) .. and almost 2 week … to be expected really

have alot of trees down and lost my fence really but not bad here in my home …i feel so bad for those that did worse

  3. If you have too much weight on the front of your tongue it will make you a danger to everybody because your trailer will start swing back and forth, you normally should put all the way over your axles on the trailer and just a little bit forward, to be the safest

  4. TY,,,,,,WOW 1st class incredible very interesting super kool ,1st class great info.,, AAAAAAAAAAA++++++++++++ again great video I liked it a lot ,keep up the great work

  5. Brother fellow mechanic from new Zealand .my prayers 🙏 for you and fam also for the people during Ian very devastating I truly hope you're all ok .love you're vids

  6. Surprised you didn't leave your tilt trailer with the ability to hold water. Added weight, less chance to blow away and heavier item to strap to your shed.

  7. you treat your transmission like shit just jam into gear while it’s still moving and people wonder why the transmission goes before the engine

  8. I commend you for working ceaselessly to keep your family and estate safe. My family taught me to do the same thing. I grew up on the east coast, but I’ve never seen anything like this one. Andrew was the worst for us. I’m glad it worked out for you, As we see now, Thursday morning

  9. Your trailer plug might be a little bit to loose. 😂

Ever notice that a mechanic never has time to work on their own stuff?

Anyhow, glad that all is well over there for you and the family after the storm. Time to start the clean up fun.

  10. When you fueled up, I noticed you didn't fill the traveling diesel station on the back of your truck (called a ute in Austruckingfalia). I thought having that full would have been a massive advantage if Mr Hurricane took out the hydrocarbon dispensing shops once it had paid its destructive visitation.
You secured your Well House because you didn't want it to become an Unwell House? 🤦‍♂ Yes I know, hat, coat leave.👉

  11. That looks like new plywood. My dad always wonders what people do with the plywood they got from the last hurricane. Does everyone just throw it away after every hurricane?

  12. Dehydration and alcohol will cause those Charlie horses. I used to eat magnesium, b6 and a melatonin so they wouldn't happen. Got so bad I wanted to die

  13. Ray…best thing for charlie horses…chug some Clausson's pickle juice. It's got alkyloids and electrolytes…marathon runners know this trick. And dried apricots…for potassium.
