Note: To keep things fair, the Galaxy S8+’s display is set to FHD+ here for this speedtest, since the iPhone 8 Plus sports a similar display resolution.
The Galaxy S8+ is Samsung’s flagship smartphone with a 6.2″ Super AMOLED infinity display whereas the Apple iPhone 8 Plus sports a 5.5″ full HD IPS LCD display.
While the Samsung Galaxy S8+ used in this video is powered by the Exynos 8895 chip, the iPhone 8 Plus sports Apple’s in-house A11 Bionic chip.
The iPhone 8 Plus has a dual camera setup with two 12 Megapixel cameras, while the Galaxy S8+ sports a single 12 Megapixel camera.
While The Samsung Galaxy S8+ runs on Samsung Experience 8.5 built on top of Android 7 Nougat, the iPhone 8 Plus runs on iOS 11.
