Today we investigate if Huawei is taking over the number one spot from Samsung as a market leader when it comes to Android smartphones.

We also take a look at the new features that are present in the Mate 20, the Mate 20 Pro and the gaming focussed Mate 20 X.
All these 3 devices have the new octa core Kirin 980 chip inside them. It is the world’s first 7nm SoC and it comes in a 4+2+2 core configuration.
All the three phones also sport rear triple camera setups with one primary sensor, one telephoto and the 3rd one being a wide angle lens. This is a change from their previous triple camera design where they included a black and white sensor instead of the wideangle lens on the Huawei P20 Pro.
They have also introduced a proprietary fast charging tech that they call Huawei Supercharge which they claim can get their 4,200mAh battery toting Mate 20 Pro upto 70% in just half an hour.
The P20 Pro also offers an in display fingerprint sensor and 3D Face recognition technology. The Mate 20 and Mate 20 X on the other hand come with a teardrop notch and a rear mounted fingerprint sensor.
The Mate 20 X comes with a gigantic 7.2 inch FHD+ OLED screen and has stereo speakers. It also comes with a massive 5,000mAh battery and is touted to be a gaming, multimedia and productivity powerhouse. Huawei has also launched a M Pen which is like a S Pen alternative that works with the Mate 20 X.
All these phones run on EMUI 9 based on the latest Android Pie.
