“I grew up in the war,” Quraishi says in the film. “I have seen everything with my own eyes, but this time is more and more dangerous than the past.”

In this excerpt, Quraishi explores what’s happening to the Hazara Shia minority living in Afghanistan as the U.S. withdraws, the Sunni Taliban advances, and the Shia power Iran works to extend its influence.

  1. They speak Farsi (Dari) not Arabic Farsi is a Pershian Language. Although Hazara are Shiits they are treated very badly in Iran. Since Khomeini Afghani have no civil rights in Iran. They can only stay illegal there.. An investigating Channel should at least know the right langsame spoken. 😏

  2. Most people today would like to play safe by avoiding. War yet the war in ukrain is still brewing becoming worse eacd day it seems unstoppable why? Because god had already decreed it. Wars, rumors of wars , plagues, calamities disasters no leader can prevent it ? What does it means? The end of this world is coming for the kingdom of god is at hand or near, world war no one can prevent it to happen despite the peace efforts of united nations nato etc only god can postpone it for the sake of his elect

  3. Shia must know west isnt their ally, they should adhere to classical rule of islam & avoid later teachings of shia imams. Later they corrupted belief & hence sect shia came in palce.

  4. Hey Frontline. Afghanis do NOT speak Arabic. They are of the Persian Empire and speak Farsi, although in very different dialects than Iran. They can also speak other languages but ARABIC IS NOT ONE. Do some research first or hire someone who knows. Ill take a nice pay cheque if you want it done right son.

  5. It's not worth fighting wars in the middle east anymore. They have committed genocide against each other for thousands of years and will continue to do so. There's nothing we can do to civilize them.

  6. Its their civil war. Afghanistan is tribal, they are fighting over scarce resources rocks and sand. Sorry but the tears of Americans are most important to me.
Leave as soon as we can.

  7. The War in Afghanistan is the result of an America's sheltered and obsessive-compulsive political class. They need to let go. Bad actors in other countries will always exist. There is no use in hanging on to these lands in the Middle East with white knuckles.

  8. This leaves mixed feelings for Americans even the English army, we know our family friend were/was in this war. It is so scary when they were sent and for a years, thank God they survive, wars are the most error we have in this plant, I can only say May Our Lord protect them all!!!!

  9. When this hajara group forms militia you call them defender of the community. When taliban or others do the same to defend their lands, people and religion you call them anything but defender. hypocrisy!

  10. If the Kabul government can't push back Taliban after financially/militarily supported for whopping 20 yrs, they will never be able to win the civil war anyway. Let them do their best.

  11. They need to gather their men and make a militia I feel bad for my hazaras they always been treated bad. Well idk about always but since I been alive for sure. They should link up with the Tajiks maybe.

  12. I know right, we should never end wars. Perpetual occupation is the only way to world peace.

This PBS program is brought to you with the support of viewers like you… and Raytheon

  13. “God has bought such a day on these children” no lady God didn’t tell your husband to fight. Shows the complete lack of faith some people in Afghanistan have in their creator and God will towards mankind

  14. So the world keeps telling the US to stop getting involved in everyones business, then we leave and the world blames up for leaving them to terrorists. Which one do you want? I would love to see how the world ends up if the US pulled all foreign troops. There is a giant threat growing to the world, unless of course you like China ruling

  15. The Qur'an is a book of politics, war and economics. It contains many verses of law and how to deal with your family, neighbours, mother, father, brother, at work, in war and in peace, and there are many legislative laws in all areas that will turn the world into a happy village par excellence. The West is fighting us because it wants to impose its own law. But the law of heaven is stronger, more successful, and more deserving. Look how your country doing now ? It's all fallen in Vice, theft, murder, bad morals, frequent divorce and loss of children. If you REALLY wants better world then take Quran if not leave us alone, stay away from us.
