The Kirin 980 chip inside the Huawer Mate 20 Pro is the world’s first 7nm SoC and it comes in a 4+2+2 core configuration.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro sports a triple rear camera setup with one primary 40 MP sensor, one 8 MP telephoto and a 3rd 20 MP Sensor with an ultra wide angle lens. This is a change from their previous triple camera design where they included a black and white sensor instead of the wide angle lens on the Huawei P20 Pro.
Huawei has also introduced proprietary fast charging tech that they call Huawei Supercharge with which they claim they can get their 4,200 mAh battery on this Mate 20 Pro to 70% in just half an hour.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro also offers an in display fingerprint sensor along with 3D Face recognition technology similar to what Apple offers.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro sports a 6.39″ Super Amoled panel with a Quad HD Plus Resolution – this is a 19.5:9 panel.
As for software it runs on EMUI 9 based on the latest Android Pie.
