  1. its incredible how you trained your mind to not work with the two hands, I would get pissed when something happened just because I wasnt using my two hands

  2. Ive got one on my durango similar thats for secondary water pump to the heater core, but that one looks like a circulation pump that cools a hybrid cars inverter.

  3. We love watching you Ray because youre honest and explain things. Filming is also a great way to CYA! If I still lived in Georgia, Id bring you my more challenging cars just to have you work on them, film them and explain. Enjoyed your channel for the last few years. I do miss your previous place of employment.s do da do duh do telephone ring though!

  4. great thinking” out side of the box!” great to see that modified bracket, that worked out perfectly
not sure if there will be more burping of the coolant! that happened when I. had the exchange done
4-5 months adding coolant now it is fine!

  5. I didn't realize you took customers from YouTube. I'm local and have a 2014 Siverado with 180k miles that going to need work. Very well taken care of 4.3 v6. Can I bring it by?

  6. Don't worry Ray, I won't try to be your customer. I love your content, but it wouldn't be a good fit. It's not you, it's me. I am horrifically cheap. I am a grease monkey who 'enjoys' abusing myself by working on my own vehicles. Just this week, after a month of trying to get an EVAP monitor to clear on my 2011 Chevy Malibu, I was able to get it passed NYS inspection. And – my 2008 Honda Odyssey stopped starting. No crank, no click, no start. Only 266K on it, too. A new starter and ignition switch later and I can start it, but the steering wheel lock assembly is also worn out, so I am waiting for parts. It's drivable in the meantime if I don't mind the wires and sensors and switch hanging from the steering column. See, you would not like me as a customer either. I have learned a lot from you and Eric O. (Although Eric the Car Guy got me started on Youtube repair videos) and even appreciated supercharger content – because "making it work" is kind of my repair method…

  7. I don't know if you figured this out but when using the laser on that Olight if you double click the power button with the laser on it will also turn on the light

  8. 4:34 if you double tap the button while on the laser it will have the flashlight and laser on at the same time really useful for pointing things out, it also has a turbo mode if you triple tap while on the flashlight mode

  9. I use a Swep flat plate HX to combine flows onto one thermal loop. That is, on my methanol engine< I combine the Engine oil onto the engine coolant loop using a swep flat plate Heat exchanger.
I do this to help keep any Methanol blown by rings into engine crankcase oil, evaporated out of oil. We also run a 45 minute heat up cycle on used oil because at 183 degrees Alcohol boils away from oil. I know its not the same as your intercooler chillin the itake and compressor. We dont need one with methanol it frosts the intake. But other wise it uses all the same parts. 1 Pump, 1 Radiator(heat exchanger / de-superheater) and one loop. Mine just piggybacks. Yeah I know its not the same , but thought id add it for folks. P s I welded and machined stainles 201 304 and 400 6-00 series. Thay are all weldable 100% For streangth we use FERROUS WIRE ON STAINLESS WELDS! I said it properly we use Ferrous wire for strength or when joining ferrous to stainless assemblies. If you see a stainless salt spreader Ot even more so a stainless dump truck bed, its not all stainless, the pivot blocks and pins are ferrous steel. and some of the internal framework too. I welded them and formed them for decades at Sweanson spreader, and Aebi Schmidt. Look them up to see the stuff I talking about. Be amazed, Stainless and carbon welded together and Federal DOT approved too!
