Come along as I have a look at this 2014 Jeep Compass that was towed in with a flashing throttle light, engine light and a customer complaint that it won’t move! I found several codes P2101, P2110, P2112, and a P2118. Hmmm could this really be a no parts required fix?

I found a vac tube running from about 1in behind the t body to below the brake fill a wood rat had eaten in to pieces. Luckily I found it before I put that new 300$ t body on. Jeep patriot 2016 2,0l

I installed a new throttle body and the problem with the limp mode is still there. Even after clearing the codes and driving 20 days. The old part was still clean.
Son in law in law owns the 2012 compass I am serving.
It stalls on the road at unpredictable times.
Inspected relay box and connectors inside fender well, relays clean and contacts clean.
Based on your video I will clean throttle body.

Roughly same issues, 2019 caravan and throttle codes are showing. I cleaned throttle body like you did but no change, throttle light remained on even when clearing codes.
What if you clean it, and it continues with the same problem?
Just had my own money shot after customer insisted it was the throttle body. Replaced throttle body same problem. Diagnosed further and found broken wire at engine harness plug

The wife n I own a 2022 jeep compass trailhawk. We ended up with a p2111 throttle actuator error. Only 2 years old 😅 so many issues with these dollor store cars.

Excellent diagnostics! I really liked the logic of working with error codes.
I don't think this throttle valve will work for long. Most likely, the plastic gear of the damper drive is already damaged. You can even hear it when you turn on the ignition. There will be a sound similar to a quiet crack.
I was surprised that there wasn't a lot of oil inside. This means the PCV valve is still doing its job.
If you decide to wash the damper and see a lot of oil, be sure to change the PCV valve.
