In this video we look at a 2011 Jeep Compass that has the engine light on with a few codes. Another shop sent it here because they weren’t quite sure what was wrong with it.
-Enjoy!
(These were codes active in the PCM P0010, P0013, P2008, P0032)

2016 Jeep compass ownere here. I have the EXACT SAME…PROBLEM.
Great video as always. Was wondering if you could put a link for the lug kit you have. That would be a great addition to my garage. Keep churning out this video they make my lunch time so much better..
I have a 2010 taurus sho changed the cats and boom all kinds of codes what could it be
Where do you find the wire schematics/location diagrams? Would love to have em for my jeep.
How does Toyota engineer their ground connections? I've never seen you have to fix one on a Toyota.
I enjoy this style video. I like seeing the process because it can get really confusing with some things. I do miss the classic parts replacement videos
Thank you sir sharing your knowledge on repairs on all kinds of auto repairs enjoy your experience beautiful. Thank you sir ðŸ‘
saw this video this morning 03/18/2025. i knew when you pulled the codes exactly what it was. i did the same repair yesterday on a customers car. thanks for all you do.
To those that complain…. EGO gets in the way, often, with them.
yes! we follow every step, especially the wiring diagrams and how to find the components and what make them tick…recently the door locks on my 98 honda crv went dead..it gave me plenty of warnings cause they did work intrmitantlly when my driver door was in different positions;I knew then thanks to your channel that I was dealing with a loose wire connection,,and then. nothing, looking at the problems that tipicly
these models experience I found the connector by the driver side and repaired 3 wires that had slipped away from their respective pins..inspected the rest of them and put everything back together… thanks again mr Eric O you inspired us all.
17:17 which Autel is that? I work at a small independent shop and sometimes our snap-on just doesn’t get what I think it should. Been looking for a backup/alternative option. TIA!
As a fellow mechanic I also think it’s a terrible design that Chrysler attaches so much to one ground location but it sure makes diagnosis much easier when you have a smoking gun like this
Good dialogue for plan of attack as always!!!
Love watching your video Eric O
Always want full diagnosis with editorial comments. Learn a lot from all the detail. Thank you.
Live in Florida. No vehicle inspection at all. Period.
you are real I love your processes mistakes and all keep it up and i will keep watching (no I am not a masonic) I have a business where I must solve problems dally you are an inspiration
He could sell pee for injector cleaner tank additives lol awsome tech takes pride in his work
Dear guy
I really enjoy your videos, but i really hate the amount and duration of the commercials, so i have to really have to think three times if i want to see them or not.
I don't know if you have a way to handle this or not, but in case you can please do it.
Don't take it the wrong way thinking that I'm saying that your content is worthless, not at all. It is just that I'd like to see what you do as an entertainment.
Back to watch this video after you most current video 4 weeks from this video with the same problem.
Will Chrysler ever resolve a better way like how eric did for those ground clips…
This just shows how poor quality they are for something so simple to resolve.
Great stuff .ðŸ‘
stop using the scan tool as a computer and web browser… and it won't lock up
that jeep wo t last much longer… but the electric connection will put last the jeep.
also it needs a top off on coolant
you have to many tabs open on ur computer or tablet… close all non essential tabs . and it will be fine
this is why they need to get rid of all computers in the car… only one for Engine and brakes
I like the live diagnostic videos I learn from them thanks
lol i watch you cuz you make me laugh and i really enjoy watching you work on and going through the diag ..you are good at what you do.
What brand of battery charger is this ?
Power, ground, component… multiple codes find the common denominator. Not likely multiple things have failed.
Great video sir!
I live in a country where you can just do a tailpipe measurement if the monitors are not complete. I wonder how it works if your car is not allowed to drive anymore because it failed inspection, and now you have to drive it to pass inspection?
He's the best in the Business in Auto Repair, as I have been watching this Pro for weeks. I would hire him any day, no shadow of a doubt!
Notice your scanner looking for an update… if you wait to long it will interfere with normal operation
If you could let me know of a secure website where you get them pesky RPO codes from the VIN without looking in vehicle. And thanks for the videos!
Honest Mechanic. Who would have thought. Wish we could Clone you.
Live diagram is a keeper
Nice work ol son
