It wasn't the car or the regulator that made it difficult it was you who didn't know what you were doing. Next time checkout you tube videos well worth your time.
No you put the connector together while the motor is loose . Sure hope you are charging by book time not by the hour. You made a 30 minute repair into an hour.
5 minutes on you tube and it saves you a bunch of headaches. You do have to remove the speaker.
Next time get on you tube and watch a video on how to remove a door panel it makes it a lot easier.
A complete door from wilberts might have been cheaper & easier.
your fantastic … the weekend my neighbor asked if I could look at his brakes .. because one of the brake pins was stuck in one spot, I did what you do … talks and have fun while repairing the car….. when I finished he asked "If I wasn't here who would you have talked to …." I started laughing and send him one of your repairs … your wonderful !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thank you Bill
Well done
Necesito uno completo la puerta del piloto se partió el plástico y no lo consigo en Venezuela no lo hay de mi Jeep liberty kj
It Would Have Been Easier if You Would Have Removed The Speaker. Just a Heads Up
Great job , I’ll have to tackle my Liberty regulator next.
I think I made a mistake when I took my regulator and motor out. The coil thingy came out with it.
thanks so much! what did you say you sprayed your truch with?
Sure wish ours had that much space behind the door panel be easy to replace the door lock
Nouthing at all like my car. All behind metal with a small opening
Just replace the same regulator in a 2003 Jeep Liberty. Thanks for the share, much appreciated!! Almost kind of wish the bottom of the door was rusted out like the one you worked on 😂. I did manage to get the new part in there.
I really like all your videos–they've helped me immensely over the years maintain my older cars. I've watched 2-3 videos on this job as I too have a Jeep Liberty and all 4 of the windows have failed. Anyway, I just wish at least one of the video makers had mentioned there are two to three different type of window support types for the window lift. I started with the replacement you have, but when I got to "just click it in" there was nothing to click into b/c my Jeep had a different window support type. So, start with figuring out which type of window support you have before ordering your replacement part.
Awesome
Great video I have to do my 2007 Jeep Liberty
AWESOME. I fixed my window. I learned more from your mistakes. Knew to avoid issues.
Video still grandly helpful. Cheers
I'm watching how patiently you are taking the door panel off and chuckling. I've owned three jeeps and the window regulators broke on all of them. I just start at one corner of the panel with a screw driver (don't own your fancy tool), pop about three of the fasters and then just start pulling until it all comes off. Have I broken a couple of the fasteners? Yes, but they are cheap to replace. Never broken anything else, and got the panel off a lot quicker.
