In this video I bring you along as I knock out some front axle joints in a Jeep Wrangler, tell you about the minor surgery I had on my head, fix a bolt that snapped off in the wheel bearing, get a visit from Andy and oh yeah, the laundry mat next door has a dryer that catches on fire. Other than that just a normal day.
-Enjoy!

One of the best machinest I knew said penatrating oil just gave a man the courage to pull harder on the wrench. perhaps if it has time to soak it may help
Do you ever use anti-sieze? Or do you just not like turning silver… 😆
I too have plaque psoriasis on my head and 2 other forms on hands, knees and elbows. It used to get knarley but I found that shaving with a safety or straight razor dramatically reduces the inflammation. Psoriasis hates the irritation of growing hair. I had a friend complain he has alopecia and I was thinking what I would give to get that so I wouldn't have to shave anymore. Eyebrows are already thin so it wouldn't really matter if they were gone. My crazy skin don't like them either.
Make that it's one of the rare ones with the 3.8 they're in Mr. O they're not very common .
"Mister Floppy." That's what she said.
Takes a lot of experience and equipment to get to the point where you can just brush off problems like a broken bolt.
Just very gently beat the piss out of it!
Quite the busy day there at South Main Auto…laundromat fire, chick fight, etc
Man that was a wild 2 days you had, almost forgot about this one. Went from an oddly rusted Jeep job, to firefighter, domestic cat-fight reporter all while trying to heal from Dr. Hack playing operation on your skull.. mentally exhausting my guy.
Enjoyed the video, thanks very much.
I probably hold the record for installing the most u-joints and not once, that I recall did i use a torch. Getting that bearing off, uh yes
Why cut the ujoint with a torch?
You have a press?
How about using the proper tools for the job ?
It’s a Jeep thing, my granddaughter had to have one! My Son says the moment she leaves for college that thing is for sale and good riddance!
Next time, please film the “chick fight.†Probably double the views.
acid brush for applying flux on copper and flux is an acid.
What an eventful video😂
Like that mini impact drive you use. Can you share the make and model. Thanks
2:25 I prefer to just let 'er hang from the brake hose. Give it a good stretch. ha jk, Love your videos Eric
Hey, left a message on your answering machjne, but you didnt return my call😂😂
I dont like torching out the cross, i manage to knock em out with my own hammer method. Involves a vise and a pipe sometimes..
I got a 2009 I am putting cv half shafts in the front axle instead of changing universal joints. I'm pretty sure Grand Cherokee cv axles go right in
Non-grease able in a Jeep? Odd
Eric, so what’s the deal do you use sharp drill bits? I gotta try that sometime. I’ve never done it.
Those clips serve no other purpose than to keep the rotor on the hub during factory assembly. We threw them away at the dealer.
I was thinking service my front joints. Then watched this and was like HMMMM….Broken bolts and all the fun
Removing that chicken fat. I hope it didn't cut down your IQ. You seem to be pretty sharp. Guy you get her done. That's the main job. Get her done and don't get hurt. Take care
What was that caused from , A rolling pin
"Acid brushes" are called that because of their original usage, that is to spread
the acid soldering flux on pipes and fittings that will be soldered.
I finally figured out why Eric has no hair on his forearms…
Chicken fat….lol!
Had to chuckel when you were complaining about 12 points.i work on aircraft and Almost all of the bolts on the engines I work on are 12 point but there's not much salt at 30,000 feet
Every time I watch one of your videos it makes me happy i dont live in the rust belt
Love this video. Had a good laugh . Thanks again Eric. 😂
FYI you can buy aftermarket wheel bearing mount bolts, that are 6 point, instead of the 12 point bolt, they usually strip. I put them on my jeep, works great!!
I'm going to 100% leave a message now 🎉
Eric’s tutorials are spot on, makes it look easy.
Good thing you noticed and extinguished the fire next door since your building was once damaged by a fire next door.
11:02 no good deed goes unpunished
Ever used left hand twisted drill bits for removing broke bolts?
Does your shop have a drill press?
Your a hero mr O
What a week
I have always used my ball joint press
My wife had two knees replaced, individually, and she was able to hear the cutting and sawing!
Good Video
43:32 Probably similar to the sensation of having a cervical nerve ablation. No one warned me the weird numbness (like after dental freezing) on my neck and shoulders was 'permanent'! (has to be done yearly because the nerves eventually return).
