The bad news is that the government shutdown has been a real negative hit especially to those federal workers who are in the employ of the federal government. I feel for those people who need the revenue to continue a normal quality of life. The good news is that the shutdown will not keep both of you from reporting on the issues at the intersection of law and politics in my humble opinion.

Maybe the Constitution should be regarded as a living thing, that grows and Evolves as the Society that lives under it does, and Amendments and Clauses should evolve in explaining how applicable to the detractors they aren’t, as uses are clouded and interpreted as allowing for inhibitions to the Intent and intention at time of original writing…and negate any attempt that ultimately lessens rights and freedoms in a manner that doesn’t benefit any Citizen…
