  1. Ray my favorite part of many of your videos is when the brake cleaner comes out and the dramatic music plays. You should try to make it a 5 second “segment” in every video to introduce a new can. Dun dun DUN!!!

  2. Mechanics Cars ALWAYS fixed LAST!
    L0L
I remember my M0M telling the cop, "My Husband's a mechanic"…he couldn't stop laughin… as he waved her in for a roadside inspection…
Man did she get scolded for that one…LoL

  3. This is true us mechanics are the last to fix our own stuff because everyone else crying to fix there stuff. If you want better service tip or bake us food

  4. Im a Ford driver but wondering why you wouldnt use AC Delco parts for chevy, isnt that chevys brand ? What brand of roller bearings does chevy use factory ( ford was timken which was bought by japan, now koyo) ?

  5. Seeing that HEAVY truck on the lift made me wonder how do you determine the right lift points when putting a vehicle on the lift. I saw your exhaust install with the frame bowing. How do you determine the right place to lift a vehicle?

  6. Well with my experience of all my years working at car dealers you think technicians cars would be the best maintained but often they're the most neglected cuz they wait till the very last minute to do something. I kind of always thought that when they're done working on everybody else's car they're just tired and don't want to

  7. That's a question nobody has been able to answer: why does the caliper present the pads at an angle to the plane of the rotor?
I have seen this on multiple vehicles and never understood why.
The plane of the rotor is supposed to run parallel to the pad face for even pressure across the pad.
Normally, I use the arbor press to remove and install races but a concrete floor and a pneumatic flat punch seems to work for removal.
Installation with a wood block seems to work well.

  8. I'm glad Ray doesn't mind getting his hands greasy. I can't do anything with gloves on, and I don't understand why all the car YouTubers wear gloves, but then have flip flops on their feet. It drives me insane
