But in the semi-finals, things took a turn. Our opponent hung Shawn out on the 2-step, and that split-second decision cost us the round. An expensive mistake, but still a weekend full of records, lessons, and serious horsepower.

Martin has always had a nice track & been very well run. Loved racing there. Sometimes we would do the "double." Martin night racing and then back to a day racing track the next day. Sleep was almost nonexistent.
One can understand how someone could use that delay getting the second bulb lit to win, but do they ever consider the parts damage? It is too bad that you can't have them pay the bill instead!!! I pray that the repair bill is as small as possible and that everything is completed with time to spare. When I heard what you said about always waiting for the other car and starting it next year, I didn't imagine how prophetic that would be. God bless Brother and Sisters.

I want to see the deleted scenes when Shawn got out at the end of the track after the guy hung him out. I would have been fuming. I was mad just watching when I realized the guy was taking so long.

Someone messed up the splicing of the video, when Shawn first starts talking about the burn down it was during qualifying and i had to keep going back and watching it I'm like I didn't see any burn down until I got to Eliminations.
