  1. WOW!! I wish we had fuel prices like that in the UK.

Your petrol price is 97 pence a liter ($1.20) … Currently ours is £1.41 ($1.75) per liter.

Your diesel price is a little closer to what ours is : £1.34 ($1.66) per liter …. Currently ours is £1.45 ($1.80) per liter.

However, 8 months ago, our price of diesel was around £1.90 ($2.36) per liter and petrol not far behind it.

  2. A couple of brass chisels/punches will afford you the opportunity to see your children all growed up. Plus it will fill that empty space in the drawer to the right of that steel chisel.

  3. I've seen that damage before, it is caused by the fact that about 17 years ago the government thought that it was imperative that they removed the lubricating element from gasoline. So when they took all the sulfur out of the gasoline, or at least almost all of it. They ended up causing a lot of these failures of the fuel level sending units. Most surprisingly, many General Motors cars failed within just a few months of their pulling that particular element out of the gasoline. I told people to start using at least some Marvel Mystery Oil every few tankfuls in their fuel tank that would provide some lubrication for that so that it wouldn't wear itself and start barking and doing weird things. And yes they actually cause arcs inside the gas tank. The advantage to being inside the gas tank however is that there's not enough oxygen to support an explosion. Which is precisely why that's not what happened to TWA Flight 800 but that's a story for another day that I heavily studied.

  4. Cheap Skate tip of the day; Stop driving your car on empty all of the time and your fuel pump will live a long and happy life. If you can't afford to keep at least a half tank or better in your car at all times you should consider a moped or bicycle for transportation.

  5. Clogged fuel filters which should be changed every year lead to fuel pumps burning up.

People grossly neglect replacing their fuel filters every year and it is often overlooked as to be should service item by shoppes.

Why would you address a faulty fuel pump and not the fuel filter at the same time?.

    Sloppy sloppy sloppy

  6. had an 09 Altima.
same issue gas reading more than was in the tank.
replaced pump and sender and walla! no fix. 🙁 ended up being the gauge cluster.
    What up Nissan???

  7. I enjoyed watching your video. May I suggest a brass punch when you take the ring out. Just saying cause I would like to continue watching your videos as long as you make them and I would like that to be a long while .
