I had a request to see if l could do some repairs on this atv so it can be controlled at slower speeds, but it sat for a while and needed to be serviced then we get into modifications.

  1. Any way you could do this changing the sprockets? Or old GPS send a signal to cut the spark? Speedometer gear measure wheel speed that way? I'm just talking poop

  2. It IS very helpful and educational when you do carb break downs because though they all work MOSTLY the same, many do it in different ways so it’s always very much appreciated!
I agree that pedal stop is not a good solution now…may have been initially but definitely needs to change with the guys son. Once it’s Mustie1’d, it’ll be good to go!

  3. I know you have probably been asked this question a million times before. But now you can say “over a million” times,, what kind of “Lift” do you use when working on your projects? Do you know the brand? And what the lift height is from its lowest (ground level) to its highest reach? I’ve been looking all over for one like yours and can’t find one. -Thanks a million and one times, John

  4. Oh Mustie!

I was shouting at my screen not to limit the spring loaded pulley!.. limit the front pulley. The one on the crankshaft.. that way you stop applying more tension to the belt as the engine revs up.. if you limit the rear pulley, the belt will be stretched to high heaven as the engine revs up.

the front pulley bottoms out before the rear pulley to avoid this problem in production..

  5. The salesman should also sell trailers where you buy that Chinese trash because your gonna need one, to haul it to the shop until they give up and give it to mustie….lol
