New Struggles for the Farm

There are new struggles for the farm. It’s been nine years – to the day – since we started the farm, and now I’m struggling with the actions needed to move it into its next phase. Which way should I go?

Note:
-We do not offer farm tours or accept visitors
-We do not sell from the farm
-We do not ship our farm’s products
-We do not sell live animals

  1. I've recently found your channel and I've been watching religiously. You're channel is more than entertainment , it's inspiring and positive and gives a certain comfort. I'd bet that to many, your more than just farm stuff, livestock or tractor work, some of us tune in just to hear your kindness, your positive outlook, and your experience. Thank you for randomly coming into our lives and giving us something good

  2. Some content ideas for you….1) How do you manage your woodlands? 2) have you considered increasing your solar or adding wind 3) adding a bit of orchard space 4) discuss a bit more on your breeding choices. Thanks for your videos they are very interesting!

  3. Hey Pete I loved it the other day when your were going out to mow a couple of stripes around the field chicken cubes you said to the cow moooooove over Pete I cracked up laughing when you said that live all that you do on the farm brings back many memory’s growing up on my grandpas farm

  4. Pete, I love the videos. They are a reminder of from whence I came. Perhaps you could evolve your channel a bit with some discussion about how the farming methods have changed over the years in your area based upon improved practices. Show a few old time pictures and compare and contrast. Thank you for sharing.

  5. Forty three years ago today March 7 2023, I married the love of my life. We were together until death do us part. He died in 2019 with brain cancer. Otherwise we would still be together. I miss him dearly.

I believe that you did know that you would give the effort your all. And you did just that. And you continue doing that. I believe in you and Hillary. You make a great team. Good luck and Godspeed .

  6. 1/. I like the relaxed farming lifestyle because it’s so different from most peoples lives.
2/. I like the animals themselves because I have never owned a hog.
3/. I like the struggle of farming because it’s good to see people in peril but succeeding to over come the obstacles.
4/. I like your personal delivery because it’s relaxed, honest, factual, you’re friendly rather than forcing yourself onto us.
5/. I like that you have a family and your wife Hilarie puts in as much effort as you do. It’s equality in an equivalent way.
6/. I like that you have struggled in life to deal with shit, it’s a very real situation for so many people. You have prevailed and lived successfully , more power to you.

  7. I no that you take very good care of your animals and I am glad that you got a boar to help you with your farm and the little red one is very cute and I think that he will be good to and I hope that I get to see your future plans with your pig part to your farm and your plans and I like your bulls too

  8. I enjoy watching and listening to you as you do the normal family,,,farmy things,,,,wholesome family down to earth and honest,,,,bless you and yours,,,stay safe,,,,whatever you do,,,i'll be entertained ,,,,stay safe,,😍🇺🇸

  9. I like the fact you and Hilarie work together. It's a family farm.

I'm interested in your daily life. Which is why I've gone back and watched a bunch of your videos.
I just started watching a few weeks ago

  10. Dear Pete- even when it's the same chores, the same critters, another rainy day, your vids are a pleasure to watch. They are a day-in-the-life experience watching something worthwhile, your values and lifestyle, not to mention your great sense of humor. So not that you need a new gimmick, but maybe you'll try bringing in some camels (I guess for their milk?) or llamas? Ha ha! Just keep sharing with us- thank you!
