1. I had my very own hoist delivered to my home yesterday and a neighbour I've barely talked to wander up while I'm trying it out for the first time and started quoting Mr. O. I picked up on it right away and we both giggled. Both of us are quite new DIYers, but long time SMA watchers!

   side note, it's sad to say, but the money I saved by fixing my recently inherited car myself ONCE, paid for most of my hoist. Rotors and pads front and back (plus boot kit), 1 headlight assembly, tie rod end. quoted over $3000 for the work. bought the parts for $500. Second time in my life I've done a brake job but it felt like I've done it 100 times thanks to Mr. O.

2. 7:11 Had that exact problem when I was changing lower control arm on a Nissan Micra. Kind of surprised to find it here in the UK. Thankfully, it wasn't super rusted (like the Rust belt) where it can resist impact, but not spin (without snapping off).

6. I will be doing same thing to my 2015 Frontier this weekend. Being on Canadian East Coast it will be same crusty show.

7. Having the hardest time with the lower ball joint bolt (6:10) was relieved to see how rusty yours was in comparison and it still came off easier. Last guy screwed me.

8. Poor truck is rotting away before our eyes. It's a shame that more people don't undercoat their vehicles.

9. Dont feel bad Mr. O. For me its usually bending over to put socks on it the morning then my back pops like Marv on home alone. Then im screwed for like 3 weeks!

11. Good sir you didnt tell us the torques, ive looked everywhere and cant find them, could you please list them?

12. I have to remove the CV to disconnect the lower control arm?! F ….

13. Nissan connectors are a pain but think about it they don’t ever give you and wheel speed sensor code are abs

14. Missing that sheet metal castle nut cap that goes on the axle?

15. Never seen such rotted out vehicles before. Should be a crime to put all that salt on the roads. You all want to try a salt free winter this year?

23. Where did u get the Astro 1823 from ? I got the 1822 gen 2 and Thor impacts 1/2inch gen 1 and 2 and for the life of me I can’t find it 1823 when I do it’s always the wrong order they end up sending me the 1838 angle impact for the 3rd time now so if u can help me out on where to find one it would be help to me I know they’ve discontinued that one but it would be nice to have 1 thank u and Godbless brother 👍

24. 10:00 just spread a little, don't be putting ankles by the head? 😇😅 As far as getting gimped by age, I hear that stretching yoga hippie crap helps. Got me when we're supposed to do it tho 🤷

25. I absolutely love that trick with the caliper. Putting the lower bolt in first and then swinging it up so those clips stay put. Thanks.

37. Is your stubby air hammer a 1/2inch chuck or 3/8? I want to buy one but not sure which to get.
