In this video I fix up a customer’s 2015 Nissan Frontier that needs some front lower ball joins as well as some pads, rotors and brake calipers. Should be easy right?
-Enjoy!

I had my very own hoist delivered to my home yesterday and a neighbour I've barely talked to wander up while I'm trying it out for the first time and started quoting Mr. O. I picked up on it right away and we both giggled. Both of us are quite new DIYers, but long time SMA watchers!
side note, it's sad to say, but the money I saved by fixing my recently inherited car myself ONCE, paid for most of my hoist. Rotors and pads front and back (plus boot kit), 1 headlight assembly, tie rod end. quoted over $3000 for the work. bought the parts for $500. Second time in my life I've done a brake job but it felt like I've done it 100 times thanks to Mr. O.
Thanks again for all you do "my guy"!
7:11 Had that exact problem when I was changing lower control arm on a Nissan Micra. Kind of surprised to find it here in the UK. Thankfully, it wasn't super rusted (like the Rust belt) where it can resist impact, but not spin (without snapping off).
Hooah!!
You make things look easy. But they never are😃
I hope you can't leak gas in any state. haha
I will be doing same thing to my 2015 Frontier this weekend. Being on Canadian East Coast it will be same crusty show.
Having the hardest time with the lower ball joint bolt (6:10) was relieved to see how rusty yours was in comparison and it still came off easier. Last guy screwed me.
Poor truck is rotting away before our eyes. It's a shame that more people don't undercoat their vehicles.
Dont feel bad Mr. O. For me its usually bending over to put socks on it the morning then my back pops like Marv on home alone. Then im screwed for like 3 weeks!
Thank you so much for this! My dad and uncle were struggling on replacing the lower ball joint on my 06 frontier and this helped A LOT!!
Good sir you didnt tell us the torques, ive looked everywhere and cant find them, could you please list them?
I have to remove the CV to disconnect the lower control arm?! F ….
Nissan connectors are a pain but think about it they don’t ever give you and wheel speed sensor code are abs
Missing that sheet metal castle nut cap that goes on the axle?
Never seen such rotted out vehicles before. Should be a crime to put all that salt on the roads. You all want to try a salt free winter this year?
Good news, all the rust is gone, it’s on the floor of your shop.
What's that brand of ball joints he's been recommending , I forget what brank
He starts wailing on the ball joint pinch bolt and Rome crumbles around him.
The dawg!😊
How is Mrs. O’s car doing with her POWER STOP Cross Drilled and Slotted rotors doing?
Akebono supplies a lot of Napa's brake gear, a Japanese company but with production facilities here in Murica.
“If he wasn’t such a prickâ€â€¦â€¦ðŸ˜‚😂😂
I wonder if he watches your videos.
Where did u get the Astro 1823 from ? I got the 1822 gen 2 and Thor impacts 1/2inch gen 1 and 2 and for the life of me I can’t find it 1823 when I do it’s always the wrong order they end up sending me the 1838 angle impact for the 3rd time now so if u can help me out on where to find one it would be help to me I know they’ve discontinued that one but it would be nice to have 1 thank u and Godbless brother ðŸ‘
10:00 just spread a little, don't be putting ankles by the head? 😇😅 As far as getting gimped by age, I hear that stretching yoga hippie crap helps. Got me when we're supposed to do it tho 🤷
I absolutely love that trick with the caliper. Putting the lower bolt in first and then swinging it up so those clips stay put. Thanks.
If that guy wasn't such a prick I'd go help him…. Omg I laughed!! That was awesome
Slamming metal woth s BP hammer without safety glasses is really stupid, Eric.
How many miles are on that truck? It looks like new, and it needs Ball Joints?
Whats your opinion on the lil dawg aka astro 401k? thinking of getting it over the snappy/mac air hammer but the last two videos ive watched you using it its had to have its big brother jump in LMAO
We all know why your neck is sore. The Mrs is a lucky lady.
Ok well color me impressed with what that air hammer will do….and not even any solid surface under the control arm!
Tough doing things on camera . I yelled when you missed the balljoint but you couldn't hear me.
Hows ms o's drilled n slotted brakes on the kia?
I’m surprised that saw bar hasn’t seized. There has to be a huge puddle of oil on the ground.
Why does it need to go on the alignment rack?
Do you like to shoot targets ? You can use those crusty rotors ! They make a nice sound when you hit where your aiming !!
Is your stubby air hammer a 1/2inch chuck or 3/8? I want to buy one but not sure which to get.
Erico please provide number to the fastener removal tool you keep using I sure would like to own one.
Thank you for your videos.
0:50 lol, you know us so well on pinching the brake hose
Eric, do you have a link to the SP Tools socket hammer adapter tool please? It's not showing on their website. Thanks 😊
It's been so long since we've seen Sheba, was great to see her. Speaking of which, how is Chloe doing? Haven't seen her in forever either!
I love how you wind up the 'you shouldn't do it like that' mob of trolls.
Do you ever turn rotors?
Socks with your Crocs, first sign of old age Lol
The lovely Mrs O is so helpful.
Next time just put where I can skip forward to Mrs O starring role, I can always rewind after I see the real star of the show. LOL Good luck in the contest.
When you let us know it's going to be a "smash and bash video," I immediately pause the video, get a nice big beverage and some snacks, and settle in. I love it.
Buy some Hemp Vana . It works wonders on sore muscles or joints with no side effects.
I wish you were in Minnesota
