3. I did the exact same job. A/C worked like a champ. Huge puddle of water under the car on a humid day. Two days later the A/C compressor not working. Got a second compressor and it is working like a champ but for how long?

5. Hello, not a very good practice to remove old o-ring with a metal hook, tip or tool as it is vey easy to mark the aluminium hose end and this will inevitably lead to a slower of faster leak.

6. Would replacing the compressor flow sensor switch have corrected the lack of cooling with out replacing the compressor? The switch is available in the AFTERMARKET for about 30 buck. A common failing. Diagnosed by holding a magnet over the switch with engine running, AC on to see if system starts cooling.

9. Why has that comressor got 2 plugs? One is the control valve, what is the other one for?

10. I would have applied a 12v power source to the compressor to verify it was good or bad because sometimes it can be a problem with the AC module or PCM not sending the command.

11. Good! Just need to flushing the AC systems, get the debris off the system, change the Silica Dryer if the old systems not contaminated. (Which is usually not in this type or compressor, because they use ECV to control the refrigerants in and out, mostly the problem is the ECV). And original compressor comes with compressor's oil which matched the capacity, so no need to add more.

12. Hello mr ray What's up : thank you for your exellent video. I have a question , on my 2006 scion xa , I bought a new compressor , it says 3.5 oz oil & it shows where to put it in. Does it matter which side I put the oil in?. ..& I got new condensor , drier , should I put 2 oz in new condensor? I thank you for your response 🙏🙏🙏

16. We in Eureka Ca don't need air-conditioning if we hit 75 degrees we are having a heat wave

17. My ac is not working. Relay gets power but it seems like that power doesn't go anywhere after that. Even after swapping relays or trying to jump the relay nothing seems to happen. There is no power at the connector on the compressor. Any thoughts?

28. is it wise to not clean and put new O-Ring on condenser fitting after pulling off for debris inspection? seems like a quick assurance that none of that powdery looking debri got in or on sealing surfaces. Love the videos

29. Does the recovery machine have filters for possible debris? or is it that recovered refridgerant is not reused on site from same machine? Never considered that recovered refridgerant is sent away for proper disposal or recapture at a different facility

30. Don't you replace the accumulator when opening the Ac system?

Sounds a bit like my buddies shop after i messed with the overhead speaker system and secretly put in 2-15's and a 5kw amp.. funny as hell when he starts working on somebodies junk and i play a bass test song at 20hz and almost rattles the bolts out the overhead doors.. it starts the hoomage and he stands up looking around thinking some plane is about to crash into the building.. lol.. good times..

38. Hi. This may be foolish question. If you have blown compressor that left contaminants in the system. Does the a/c machine filter out the contaminants as it recovers the refrigerant gas?

39. Japanese cars avoided having an automatic belt tensioner forever. My 1988 Chevy Corsica was my first car with an automatic belt tensioner and it also had distributorless ignition with the 3 coils for the 6 cylinder 2.8. It was way ahead of the curve
