Watching how much farming changed over the years is the more interesting part to me. The fuel efficient self manuring plow was the cute part. Single bottom, two bottom three five, six all cute.
love to see the horses work as everything else to
It's really great to see the old equipment working…
If they had a prize for best-restored tractor, Pete would win hands down and thumbs up!
As always a wonderful video with beautiful machines.
Hah! It really was "right down the road from where we live". I recognize that brick building across the road from the field.
Was Hillary on that green tractor?
Anybody else see the critter running around the rafters behind him?
Man those JD’s sound terrible. I’ll never understand how the green fans actually like that sound. 😂
Those two lunger Deere can’t keep up with the red ones so they go fast and do a half you are know what job with the plow, skipping across the top
Merci pour cette jolie vidéo
Nice to see those old tractors running!
Love that F20. It pulled that two bottom just fine. Thanks
Such a welcome stress relief to watch your videos Pete and Hillarie, God Bless you!â¤
Two cylinders pulling five bottoms. lol
Your voice is so captivating, and your style is relatable. Love watching your content!
That 3 horsepower unit was pretty cool. 😉
That 826 and the big 4 bottom are just golden era units. Back when you measured the power of a tractor by how many bottoms it could pull.
Guy on the M had his plow set right ….
Very interesting video. Stay safe my friend. God bless you. ðŸ™ðŸ™ðŸ™ðŸ‡ºðŸ‡¸ðŸ‡ºðŸ‡¸
11:31 the operator of this 830 needs to learn how to properly set up his plow to his tractor.
I love your f-20. Great video.
Love the Farmalls!!😊
Enjoyed the video as always. My dad had a Super C farmall that he plowed the garden with a 2 bottom plow. Loved the smell of the fresh plowed earth. Your video brings back lots of memories.
Glad you're not afraid to use that F20. She's got a good paint job, but not a trailer queen
What happens to the fields that are now ploughed?
The horses were the best I think
Thank you sir! Preserving American Farming culture !
Love the old tractors but that horse guy is impressive too. Those big blacks look primed for all day action. Your shiny F-20 was clearly the best resto paint job but the Deere 2 cylinders were close behind. Those Deere guys show up everywhere and you can hear them miles away. Not sure that 826 or Oliver 1300 qualify as ‘old time farmers’. That’s new stuff around here😅.
Just a few rocks in those fields, it would be even worse ploughing the headlands. I think your plough was dialed-in this year..
i love these type of videos, makes me even more eager to get started on my project tractor and plow 😀
What will be planted in the plowed field?
Wonderful!! MD next year? Or maybe you need to get a 5 or 6 bottom to put your 856 through the paces. ðŸ˜
I think at least half thoes people ( not farmers ) do not have @ny clue as to how to set up their plows yet Allan tractor speed. Yes ,I do know what I’m talking @bout.
ðŸ‘ðŸ»ðŸ‘ðŸ»
Cool ! Amazing how they pull those four and 5 bottoms.
Hey Pete I live in Stockton AL we had a tractor show today I’d love to share some pictures with you let me know.
that fine looking tractor
Nice to see that Cockshutt 560 tearing it up.
Which drone do you use Pete? Guessing one of the DJI mini's?
Nice tractor pete love old time plowing brings back memories my dad put me on a 2 bottom plow at 12 years old ford Ferguson love your videos pete
Those are fun times, we did plow days for several years with horses n ponys , stopped for a wonderful potluck lunch n we had a couple make a big kettle of soup!! Awesome memories of fun times !!
Looks like your plows are setup good some of the others not so much
We went to local FarmFest here in Springfield, MO today. Saw a couple Farmalls. A fixed up MTA and a B with some sort of dual setup. Dual steering/seats. etc.
Pete, be aware of squirrels walk'n behind the scenes (13:40). 🙂
Might sound a bit weird but the highlight of this video to me was the squirrel in the background at 13-14 minutes. I want a house with squirrels in the backyard too! And you did well with the plowing compared to some tohers that had some trouble getting the plow in the field. Must have been an amazing experience to come together and plow a field.
Great to see her working! Thank you. Please include us in the maintenance.
Hey just a few acres farm do you know the best way to save your mouldbords from rusting?? Wash and spray paint them you’ll never have a rust problem when starting to plough the next time
It’s got to the point hardly anyone ploughs in my area everyone has gone to offset disc but my dad showed me how to plough with a 4 furrow semi mount kvereneland
