The Redmi K20 Pro should be launching in India really soon and that made me wonder, is this phone worth upgrading to from the almost year old Poco F1?
Well the Redmi K20 Pro has a lot of advantages over the Poco F1, starting with the screen. We have a 6.39 inch Full HD+ AMOLED full screen display in the Redmi K20 Pro while the Poco F1 comes with a 6.18 inch IPS LCD panel. The Poco F1 also has a pretty wide notch up top while the Redmi K20 Pro doesn’t have any notches, instead it uses a pop up selfie camera and an indisplay fingerprint scanner.
Internally both these phones have top of the line internals, the K20 Pro has the latest Snapdragon 855 chip while the Poco F1 has a year old flagship from Snapdragon- the Qualcomm 845. On the memory front both these phones have 6 and 8 GB RAM variants that is coupled with 64,128 or 256 GB of internal memory.
The Poco F1 comes with a hybrid slot that allows for micro SD expansion while the Redmi K20 Pro doesn’t have any option of that sort!
When it comes to cameras we have a primary 12MP Sony IMX 363 sensor on the Poco F1 that is combined with a secondary 5MP depth sensor. On the other hand the Redmi K20 Pro comes with a 48MP Sony IMX 586 sensor paired with a f1.7 lens. The secondary cameras here are an 8MP telephoto and a 13MP ultrawide. Both the phones have a 20MP selfie camera.
The Redmi K20 Pro as well as the Poco F1 run on MIUI 10 based on Android 9 Pie.

AMOLED is a better part but pop up selfie and indisplay finger print are just a cherry on the cake. But in terms of overall both are good. Its a tie up i will say but ya price makes différence.

Poco F1 was a great camera phone when it launched in Aug-Sep'18, i got myself the 64GB version..then somewhere in 2019,there was a update and thats the biggest accidental mistake i did…the camera quality became from great to shit…add to our busy dailiy working life ,visiting service center during weekdays is impossible..finally visited during weekend and downgraded the MIUI version after speding good 3 hours..wasted weekend..Xiaomi is shit when pushing upgrades..or should i say downgrade!!..It's there strategy to frustrate buyers so that people buy new mobiles…Very very cheap tactic…Warning to all…never upgrade until the reviews come out that new MIUI is good…waiting for review of MIUI 11 now.

Gonna uprade my poco f1 to the mi 9t pro because I need LTE in the US (I have an unlimited LTE plan and get 3g) and the HiFi Audio Jack (I have HiFi earbuds) but everything else on this phone is just perfect still
