The Realme 3 is all about getting a powerful SoC at the lowest price possible, and cuts corners pretty much everywhere else except the battery and camera (720p display, cheap plastic build, mediocre speakers, forgoes features like USB-C.. in fact they probably had to go with Mediatek to save a few bucks more). While the battery is big I won't be surprised if it's from a lesser known supplier so long as it has the mAh rating. Is the Realme 3 a bad thing? Not at all; it ticks the right checkboxes for its target audience. And for giving you that SoC alone for that price it deserves a lot of attention and consideration.

    Me, I'd probably be happy to spend a bit more and get the Honor 8X. It's a terrific value as well, and you do get a very premium phone for a very aggressive price.
