It’s time to mate the transmission back up to the rear end of the tractor, and finish the gears and seals in the front of the bell housing. Afterwards, I install new detent plates in the transmission covers to help tighten up the shifting.

You are a little like the Mr. Rodgers of Farming and it's great! Very calm and composed! "Tomorrow, tomorrow, we'll start the day tomorrow…."
no idea how a transmission works but this helps and was explained well.

You can also use rubber bands for needle bearings for transfer cases as well if you or anyone you know is going to be working on one !
There is a Farmall 856 cab in decent shape in the William Kent online auction. It is located in Pavilion NY which isn't too far to go for you. Sure would look good on your tractor and is only at $50!
Impressive levels of specific information and knowledge my friend, love ur show, it's like a constant seminar for me and my machines, thank you bro
Thanks Pete. This was very, very, interesting! I'm amazed at the engineering that went into designing this, at that time in in our history. To me it's remarkable!!

New tractor or old tractor? My friend with a new tractor just spent $6000 changing numerous electronic components for his tractor. Last year I paid $21 for a new battery switch.😂🎉

Good evening, Pete. I thought you might enjoy the videos from Ants Pants who lives in Estonia. He's a funny guy. His English is pretty good especially with his accent. He has a super mom who likes being outside working.
Love the old tractors. Especially farmalls I love my cub
Coming back a week later I’m guessing the pigs on it last week 🤣
Everything ok up at the farm? Where ya at Pete? I’ve been asking for inclement weather in your region so you’d have be inside fussin’ with that tractor. I’m here for the attention to detail. Narration. The labels face out in my fridge. Just saying.
I love watching your videos, can I ask you a question? I'm stumped
More animals
How can I order your new T shirt?
Wow incredible man.
Are you using synthetic grease?
excellent.
ðŸ‘a load leveler is a great investment. Saves time and energy. The short chains with hooks are handy for other purposes also.
Great job Pete. Thanks for sharing the video.
Will you be going back to the animals soon? I'm a lady and tractor restorations aren't exactly my thing. Sorry

You're a most enjoyable teacher and sharer of all that you've learned or picked up along the way.
I am looking for an old international tractor from the early 50’s I do not need this. What model would you recommend for a first tractor? Any advice will be much appreciated. Thanks olgoat
Watching you for many moons now I am aware that you have a mind that I do not: do you think yours is inherited or were you born with it, nature or nurture?
