In this video we cover the front sway bar links that are often a cause of a rattle complaint on many different makes and models. This is not always the cause of the rattles but it is something that should be checked along with control arm bushings, sway bar bushings, ball joints, struts etc… –Enjoy!

  1. 6 years later, she should be long out of school by now; wonder how she's doing in her field or maybe chose a different path?

  2. I have a 2009 Cadillac cts v, I've changed the front strut, upper and lower control arm bushings and ball joints and also replaced the sway bar end links, I still hear a rattle/clunking. what else could it be?

  3. Hi I have a question I replaced most of my front end suspension on my corolla except my shocks and springs and I still hear a rattle noise do you think that could be ?

  4. I chased a noise on a Camry once and it ended up being a bad dampner inside the steering column that goes between two gears. I've also had steering shafts from the steering column to the rack have play

  5. I just got a front wheel bearing replaced and after getting the car back, there was a NEW Noise !!!! Very annoying clunk sound at lower speeds. Honda Accord. Probably will need to go to a different shop to ask them about sway bar links

  6. Still missing you Hannah! What a sweetheart. If it wasn't for that damn Jeep hat I probably would have stopped watching Eric but I'm still here. Hope your doing well!

  7. Buddy what do you have to say abt lousy so called mechanics who suggest changing the whole control arm when the stabilizer link is knocked off bumping on to something on that stupid road?!

  8. Nice video bro; i have a honda accord 98 lx and my car does one(1) of the 2 things in my front end suspension that you mentioned/diagnosed(professionally)
    1) rattling over any uneven surface
    2) wheel feel like its about to come off when its say positioned 25-45^° clockwise and i accelerate; similar to how a car with a whopped( oval shaped) tire would exhibit.
If you could do a vid diagnosing ball joints that would be great! Subbed ~

  9. I totally agree with everything said here but I have never seen anyone grease those fittings and then they wear out anyways.

  10. The noise I get is on full right lock turns – it sounds like a crackling/popping sound… no noise on bumps or any other time. Not sure if it is sway bar link, sway bar bushing or suspension strut… so hard to tell! I should add the CV axles are new and the sound was present before and after there replacement.

  11. My college professor once told me, "Not everyone knows that. We should never assume people know what you know." Information is always valuable to someone. Thanks for the video.
