  1. I did the headliner in a 2003 DGC, pulling the B, C, and D columns from the floor up. Removal of the glue was exacerbated by nicotine permeating the liner to the glue. A small paint trim roller helped smooth the surface.

  2. Enjoy both… You are a man with good common sense and a good sense of right and wrong. As well as a great Mech… Thx for sharing I know this was last year, but still applies lololo

  3. Greetings: I agree about the carpet. U R so close, might as well. Yes the console is the PIA. Glad it is U and not I. I prefer the older. Less BS. Thx 4 the share. Bsafe.

  4. Sorry BRO, I like your channel,, but that’s a whole lotta work for what??? I took the foam and liner off of mine….. and replaced it with textured paint😂😂 while installed. SIMPLE!!😂😂

  5. What people don't realize is that they install those before they put the windshield in. You did a great job with what you had to work with. A bondo applicator works really well.

  6. Au contraire! You DO want to remove those seats! At least remove the front seats and put new leather on them with a kit from The Seat Shop in TX. Color matching to OEM and top quality stuff! No need to be an upholstery wiz to install them.

  7. I like and learn about cars while you fix and talk abt it, but what made me stay here is the deepness within your talks.
All of the sudden comes a flying kick in the head… lmao keep up, man!

  8. I'm over here dreading stripping my car right now. Got totalled by a deer and i have to pretty much do the same thing you're doing but in reverse… in a day and a half. Watching you makes me wonder if I shoudl've started earlier….

  9. It just don't feel right when the ceiling fabric is sitting on the nugget while you're riding. 1st time doing it you've done great. Hope it lastest another decade. I wonder if 3M glue would've been a better choice?

  10. Ray i did that for Bentley if you ever do it agin use a sponge to flatten the carpet on to the area your hand is to tuff to make the smooth touches that are needed. Great job though ps use a heat gun to fix cresses!

  11. Man, when i saw the title and the thumbnail showed a gmt800 dash, i knew where this waa going! Whomever designed the headliner and interior in the crew cab should have been beaten! Ivw got mine out, and still not put it back in. I also went down the rabbit hole, and haven't found my way out yet!
Spoke to a bodyshop friend when i was pulling mine, and asked how you're "supposed" to take it out….through the windshield opening was the answer. 😮 Great video!
