Google’s mid-range Pixel 9a is finally here! It offers much of what you get with the regular Pixel 9 for a few $100 less. The Pixel 9a gets some of the newest AI features, a new design, a bigger display (if only slightly), and the biggest battery ever in a Pixel! The best news is that it still starts at $499. But does it make any sense to pick up the latest in the Pixel series from Google?

  1. Hey guys, what are your thoughts on the Pixel 9a?
If you're looking to pick up one of these up then Google has delayed the pre orders of the Pixel 9a, Google told us – "We're checking on a component quality issue that's affecting a small number of Pixel 9a devices."
Which means we have no set dates yet of when you'll be able to get your hands on one

  2. Is 128gb enough space for more they 3 years 🤔 I have Samsung a54 128gb and I have more then 60% memory left but I don't know in next 3 years 128gb will be enough 🤔

  3. It looks uncomfortable to hold.
Currently, in Thailand, google doesn't have a presence anyway, but Google needs to step up their game.
Chinese brands are everywhere and certainly not shy when trying to improve their products, even if they are stealing technology.
My current S21 5g is still performing well, although it's time for something new. I just don't see anything else that makes me want to replace it.
    Maybe soon?

  4. I remember the days when reviewers were complaining that the secondary camera was a zoom~lens instead of an ultra wide. How the times have changed..

  5. Come on Google! It's 2025 already and you're still making phones with those ugly thick bezels!?!? 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

  6. I like everything about this phone. I probably won't get it, but i do like it. haha. I do disagree about zoom vs wide angle. If i could only have one, I'd prefer wide angle because digital zoom can make up for not having zoom lens (obviously not as good as optical zoom), but there are many situations where you can't get far enough back and there's no digital version of wide angle.

  7. No camera housing, ok maybe it looks slightly less fancy, but:
    – sits flat on the table
    – room for a huge battery
    – most people use a case anyway
    – you rarely are looking at the back of your phone

  8. I can get a Pixel 9 on sale for only a little extra, but the 9A looks like an interesting device.

As for the 128GB…I'm currently using 95GB on my 512GB Pixel 7 Pro, so whatever. Definitely time to move the base storage on the Pro version up from 128GB, but for the A series it's fine.

  9. Can anyone here tell me how the Tensor 4 chipset compares with other chipsets? Is it really worth it or does Google need to work on the chip to make it at par with the rest in the market?
