The Engine is Back On!

Work on the Farmall MD continues, and today I’m glad to get the engine back on the rear end with my Dad’s help. Afterwards, I install the remaining valve tappets and tappet covers, along with the oil pump and cylinder head studs. As usual on this project, I run into a bunch of unexpected roadblocks including a worn keyway on a timing gear and trouble finding new injector precups for the head. These sorts of things continue to make the Farmall MD restoration a challenging project.
