Is eating meat ethical? Today I’m bringing a steer to be slaughtered, and it’s a good time to talk about whether killing animals for meat is morally right. I feel no guilt about the thousands of animals I have killed as part of our farm’s business. Some vegetarians and vegans may think I’m an animal murderer, but I believe that eating meat is in our nature; that our bodies are perfectly suited to hunting, killing, and eating the high-energy diet that meat provides. I also cover the oxymoron of “humane slaughter,” the misconception that meat – and especially beef – is bad for the planet, and the reasons why humanity may eventually move beyond killing animals for meat.
